You're probably right. Most of the ones I've seen painted, the paint was coming off.

I use a program called Fishing Log V3.5 for my PDA. It's by Ahchi. You can find it here FREE: http://www.3store.com/palm.htm It's pretty straight forward--no bells and whistles but it does keep track of the following: Best Location Most Fish Caught Biggest Fish Caught Time Weather Water Level Water Color Water temp Air Temp Numerous customizable fields. I keep track of tackle and Rods I was using. The program appear to have been developed for fly fishing but it adapts pretty good for bass fishing.

I did a search and could not find information on lead sinkers. My question is whether or not to paint my lead sinkers black. Some people say yes, others say no. What say you experienced fisher people?

I was wondering if anyone scripted the first 4 or 5 baits they plan to use before they get to the lake. I know I have a lot of different baits and sometimes, it's hard to figure out which ones I should lead with. I went fishing today and decided before hand I'd start with a spinnerbait then go to a brush hog then a senko. After that, I went to drop shotting with a Zoom finnese worm. To boil my question down, do you decide before hand what baits and in what order you will use or do you make an on-scene decision?
