Line for Crankbait
You do realize that the 20 lb would not help your bait get deeper but rather keep it shallower? Ive read that the lighter lb test the line, the deeper it will go. So a 10 lb test would get you deeper than a say 16 lb test would.

Reel Gear Ratio Question
Yes to me skipping the fuego and getting a curado?

Reel Gear Ratio Question
Anyone else? I'm going to make my order soon and cant decide between getting the cheaper fugeo with the 6:3:1 ratio, or just throwing out the other 40 or so dollars to get a curado e5 or e7... Should I skip the fuego and get the curado e7 because I will get better use out of the 7:1 ratio? I already own a citica 200e and already dont know what to use it for, I cant decided if its a good idea to get another 6:3:1 or not

Daiwa Fuego
Im kind of on a budget so im trying to get the correct reels for my couple set ups I plan on having, is the 6:3:1 going to be as good for say a Jig rod or Topwater rod as a 7:1 reel would be? What is ideal? Thanks for all the input though its much appreciated

Daiwa Fuego
I saw that this reel is almost half off its original price right now, is this one of those "too good to pass up" deals? What applications would this reel excel at?

Reel Gear Ratio Question
So the 7:1 would be ideal for Jig rods or topwater rods? I saw the fuego was on sale for a great price but I want to get the best reel for the job

Reel Gear Ratio Question
I'm looking to purchase a new reel in the near future, When all is said and done I will have a topwater rod and a jig rod, and my question is what should I be looking for? I have a Citica 200e already, Which rod would that suit better? Is a 7:1 the preferred ratio for jigs/t rig rods and topwaters too? Is that what I should be looking for in my next reel? Thanks for the help everyone

Looking for new rod, opinions welcome
So basically i've got about 200 dollars to spend on some fishing stuff for the new year and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best for my money. The rod I want for deep cranking is too exspensive to purchase now and I dont want to short myself on a nice sensitive jig rod so I figured I would try to find a decent topwater rod that could do a few other things too. I was looking at the CPC-66MB rod but am not quite sure if there is anything out there better, heres a link to the rod http://www.***.com/descpageRDCSHIMANO-SCCR.html Any input would be appreciated

Most Inspirational Bass Fisherman Ever - Video
Very sad.... Very inspirational too. There is another person like him named Kyle Maynard, who was born with congenital amputation but became an amazing wrestler. Both amazing stories.

Show off your Stuff
I can only hope that one day I will be fortunate enough to own half of the rods and reels that have been shown! Absolutely incredible! I have one set-up a Shimano crucial spinning rod with a symetre reel, no pics now . Am working on getting my very own first baitcaster, hopefully before the new year!

BMF hooks at TackleWarehouse
Thats more than 100 dollars for just some terminal tackle Im jealous. It's only 50 but even so that's still a lot for some hooks! They must really be good do all of you only use them for flipping? Sorry I misunderstood I thought he said he got 10 packs each of two sizes :

what do you like about bass fishing
I love spending time out on the lake, I love the feel of a fish on the other end of the line, I love being with my freinds/family, And I love the feeling I get driving home knowing I just had an amazing day that I will remember for possibly a long time. Bass fishing is amazing.

Lucky Craft Lures
Are they worth the money in your opinion? I have never used one, but was wondering if they were that much better than other lures? I was interested in picking up some of their crankbaits, the finishes look amazing.
