Red Crankbaits
When would you use these? Are they more of a Stained water color?

Revo stx $100
I might be making the hour or so drive to my local one in the next coming weeks, the sale does not start until the 24th, but If I do I could probably pick you one up if they have a bunch, I will probably get one or two myself.

Topwater Question
This is a VERY clear lake. Its only about 4 miles long, and 4/4 mile wide. Smallies will suspend in the top 15-25' of water, hunting bait balls. A Sammy 115 in MS Am. Shad will trigger explosive topwater bites on this lake at dawn and dusk. During normal daytime hours, they will be more structure oriented, and less aggressive. WOW! That is pretty amazing, I would have NEVER thought that was possible. Thanks for posting!

Topwater Question
I have only been fishing for bass for a few months now and have yet to start my topwater fishing. I was wondering though, what is the deepest water you will fish a topwater in? I've only seen my friend use them in about 4-5 foot of water tops. Can you fish these things over 10 foot of water or even more and still call fish up? Any input is much appreciated

My Personal Best!!!
Catch and Release! Todays taxidermists can make an exact replica given enough pictures and correct measurements. Put that hawg back for some other angler to catch one day next time

Baitcaster - Am I missing out?
YES YOU ARE I dont know if it because the people that are saying no are not proficient in using them but I feel like they are a very important tool if you want to expand your fishing ability. I will never fish a crankbait on a spinning rod, ever again.

Citica 200e questions
Sorry, I just dont like the responses I see around here that make it like anything regarding shimano products cant be posted in the general forums, but the main thing is most people, myself anyway, do not frequent that section of the forums so I figured it would be best to ask my question here to get the most responses. Sorry if I came off the wrong way :-/ And everyone thank you for the help I apprecaite it, but can anyone else tell me what applications this reel will perform best for? Isn't the 6:2:1 an all around ratio good for basically anything but not ideal for some things? Can anyone tell me a little about that?

Citica 200e questions
I noticed on the bottom of my box that it says Made in japan/imprimie en japon/ (2008.07.02) Im assumeing that this is not one of the newer ones I purchased, and that is the assembly date? And on my box it is listed as 6:3:1 while on tackle warehouse it is listed as 6:2:1.. Is this correct? Should I take mine back to BPS and try to get a newer one offline? thanks for the help

Citica 200e questions
Bought a citica 200e at BPS today since they were sold out of the other reels I wanted but I had a few questions. What applications will the reel excel at? And does anyone have any recommendations on how to set the break system? Should I have all of the breaks clicked in, or is it different for everyone? Also, how do I tell if I purchased one of the newer citicas?

Care to explain?

P-Line Floroclear/C-XX
Haha, Didn't you just make a thread where you said C-xx was "amazing." Anyway, We had a similar experience with it breaking upon hookset, not happy with it. Not sure if its because we got an old spool from Bps because it looked pretty old but was pretty disappointed. Have had no problems with the flouro clear so far.

Broken Tip Guide
Hello everyone, The other day I went to cast a crankbait and it caught the rod tip of my new shimano crucial rod and completly destroyed the tip guide, bent it all out of place and everything. I'm currently waiting to see if this is covered in the warranty and can be fixed but if it is not what does everyone recommend I do? Is my pole toast? Will it ever be as good as it was if I get someone to swap the guide out? Any help would be apprecaited

Shimano Curado vs. Revo Premier
Well like I said above, this isnt so much as which reel is better, I just want to know if the price of the revos being on sale is such a good deal that it should be enough for me to go ahead and skip out on my curado and just get that for now instead.

Shimano Curado vs. Revo Premier
I'm not wondering as to which reel is better than the other because I know they would most likely be used for different things but im wondering is the price of the premiers now that they are on sale and the old ones not being produced anymore worth skipping on getting my curado and going ahead and taking advantage of the deal? I saw that it was almost 100 dollars off now, is is that great of a reel? Must buy? Or should I just get my curado and not worry about it

New Cranking Reel
Can anyone recommend me a good cranking reel for my new baitcaster? I'm looking to spend under 200, possibly a little more.

Re: Did I catch my Citation??
Anyone wanna go ahead and guess a weight on her? I was thinking she was somewhere between 6 and 7 tops. As usual the pics do no justice
-
Rod length, impact on casting distance
Yes. I was watching the elite series and alot of the guys were swearing by 7'10" rods for their crankin rods.

Re: Did I catch my Citation??
Great idea, I guess that all depends on if he was tellin me the truth then ;D You know how competitive fishing can get haha

Favorite Spinnerbait Colors/Combinations
List your favorite colors for your spinnerbaits, blade combinations and colors, and what kind of conditions/watere you fish them in. I just started using them but ive had luck with white with double willow leaf both silver blades and using it in clear water throwing it near cover and things.

How do you make a crankbait dive deeper
Like KVD said, Fluouro is a must, sinks faster and will get your bait deeper down to the bottom
