When ever I go after Catfish I have a throw net.It work really well.It was only 14$ at Academy.I mainly catch Minnows and Shad in it.It will pay for its self after a few uses.When you catch your own bait in the same lake you fish, the bait is is not foreign to the fish.

Lake Conroe is 45 minutes from me.I wanna go but I got a fishing trip planned.Going to Fayette County lake for that weekend.There are some big bass in that lake.

I'm a big fan of the UL spinning gear.I bought 2 UL setups from Academy for 20$ a piece.Both quantum.I put 6lb Trilene xl on one and 6lb Sufix Elite on the other.I like to use the Zoom Tiny Brush Hog Texas rigged with a 1/0 Gammy G-lock hook and 1/16 Tungsten weight.Had a alot of luck with Bass.Caught a 3lb Bass on that setup.Alot of fun fighting a fish on UL tackle.I also like to use Roadrunners,and Rooster Tails.I might catch Perch,Crappie, and Bass on those little things.Get ready because when you set hook the fight is on.
