Rage Tails have worked really well for me.So have some of the KVD perfect plastics.

I have many packs of motor oil ZOOM U-TAIL WORMS and have done really well in stained water.I haven't fished them in clear water.

I think it makes them hold on longer.I like using scents to help lube my soft plastics to make them go threw the timber a little better.
