I agree, sounds like its probably timing out your connection. I don't have an answer for that right on hand, but you can google it and should get plenty of results and things to try. Only thing I could suggest is to keep trying and make sure there is no other activity on your network at the time. If all else fails, contact AT&T about your Internet being slow and timing out.

7 Mbps upload?? Wow. That's awesome high. I have AT&T UVerse with around 1.5 up and 7 down. I suppose it all depends on your ISP, location and type of connection. If he were exceeding bandwidth, he wouldn't be able to continue to reupload though would he? Bandwidth is normally given on a monthly basis, so if he's exceeded it, he's done for the month, so I don't think that's the case, but I could be wrong.

At that size and upload rate, it should take you approx. 2 hours to upload the video. Can you render the video file again, perhaps in another format (or if not, just try again in .wmv format) and attempt the upload again? Since it is hanging at 17%, there may be a problem with the video file itself at that part of the encoding. That, or you are losing internet connection (even for the slightest second) to cause the upload to hang. If you can, try a re-render and re-upload in either a different format or the same format if need be. If that doesn't work, perhaps you can try uploading it at another location to see if it hangs somewhere other than youtube or wherever you are trying to upload.

Carolina Fishing Trip For Bachelor Party
I only know SC, so here's my $.02 for what it's worth. Jocassee is a beautiful lake. I live right around Hartwell, Keowee and Jocassee, and of the three, Jocassee is the best, scenic-wise, in my personal opinion. There are not many houses on Jocassee because a majority of the land is owned by Duke Power I think (could be mistaken on that) so finding a house to rent on the lake might be difficult. Next best in the upstate SC area would be Keowee. Clear water lake, just like Jocassee it's used for Duke Power and has a Nuclear Power Plant on it, so the water stays somewhat warm (it's around 60 right now, 70 at the power plant discharge). Also a very scenic lake with some incredible houses on it. Not sure about rentals though. Fishing-wise, I haven't fished Jocassee much, but I know it used to be THE premiere fishing lake in South Carolina. It has since gone down a bit due to there being hardly any structure. It's a big trout fishing lake these days, as well as smallmouth, with some largemouth too. Keowee can be a really good lake to fish, if you know how to fish clear water. It's known for it's Spotted bass and largemouth. Around the first of march, that should be prime fishing time on the lakes up here. Hartwell is my 3rd choice for an upstate SC lake. It's right around Clemson University so it has a lot of recreational stuff going on as well as a lot of fishing. But the area is still great. Hope that helps with a tiny bit of insight on the upstate SC lakes.

How Cool Are These Little Guys ! :-)
Cedar waxwings, very cool looking birds. If you've ever held one, or a preserved specimen, it's really cool to feel that those red spots really do feel wax-like, I guess hence the name waxwing. Excellent photos!

I've done quite a bit of video editing myself, from GoPros to professional HD cameras. If you are editing in HD, you need a quality computer (fast processor, lots of RAM, good graphics card...etc). I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro, but it can be an expensive program. For basic stuff, I've found very little issues with using Windows Movie Maker. Sony Vegas isn't a bad choice either. If you're running a Mac, I've heard good things about iMovie as well as Final Cut Pro. As far as free programs, I can't really name any as I've never used them other than windows movie maker. YouTube is an invaluable resource for tutorials on how to use some programs and basic things in an editing software.

Parking And Charging A Boat At An Apartment Complex
I could rent a garage at my complex for $75/mo but it is too small for my boat. 16' boat, plus outboard and trailer puts total length at approx. 21'-ish. Garages here are 19 x 11 1/2. But I never thought about the bulb converter. That's a smart idea. I'm going to end up storing it at my grandmother's house 45 minutes away. It will be a tight squeeze, as the garage is right around 21' in depth, so the boat might have to be angled some, but I figure that's the best option for me. While I've had the boat here at my complex for several months now and have received no notices or complaints from the complex or neighbors, there apparently is some fine print in my lease that says I can't have a boat in the parking lot. Didn't see it before, and I've lived here 6 years now, but when I renewed my lease I went through it thoroughly and found it. I only plan on living here until July '14. The fine for the boat in the lot is apparently $10/day from the day of notice. The theft issue, while I am somewhat concerned, I'm not extremely concerned. I keep no electronics or anything of great value in the boat. The boat is always covered, I check it everyday and if it's been tampered with, I'll notice. I can see my parking lot and the boat from all windows in my apartment. My building is also within a 30 second car ride to the police station. But, despite all that, I have decided to keep her safe in a garage 45 minutes away.

Parking And Charging A Boat At An Apartment Complex
I appreciate the responses everyone. I've looked through my lease and there is nothing that says I cannot park a boat in the parking lot. And by "tight squeeze" I don't mean that it's in any danger of any other cars hitting it more than my own truck would be in danger, I just mean backing it in and pulling it out of a spot can get tricky. I may end up parking it in my grandmother's garage 45 minutes away (if the garage is big enough) and store it there. Easy to charge there too. My only issue with that is it's an hour and a half drive round trip from there back here to any lakes I'd fish around here. Might be my only option to charge it and keep my onboard charger plugged in all the time if I can't find an affordable storage facility with outlets. So I guess I need to find some facilities around the lakes here and compare the price of storing it there to what I'd pay in gas for that hour and a half drive. I really appreciate ya'lls feedback. I'm a new boat owner, so this is all new to me.

Parking And Charging A Boat At An Apartment Complex
Anyone live at an apartment complex? If so, where do you park your boat and where do you plug it in to charge the batteries? Currently I live in an apartment, with a fairly small parking lot for my building. I can get my 16' boat in and out of the parking lot, but it is a very tight squeeze. Charging is an issue for me, as I live on the second floor and it's a long stretch from my unit to the parking lot where I park my boat so the extension cord may get in the way for other residents. Anyone have any experience with this situation? Thanks

Tree Rat Gun?
Ended up going with a Gamo Hornet. Good price at our local academy store, so I picked it up. So far it's at least 3 kills in 3 shots, that I know of (my dad may have gotten more since). Stone dead. I'm impressed.

Lake Moultrie Or Marion Tips Or Advice Needed
I'd be interested in hearing thoughts on this as well as your success after your tournaments. I've got a friend that fishes there on occasion as he lives nearby, I'll give him a holler later and see what he says. I've been wanting to get down there and fish Moultrie & Marion for awhile now, but I just haven't been able to do it yet. Hopefully this spring.

Bcs Championship Bowl
Sure SEC teams have won seven consecutive national titles, but only 4 schools. Florida, LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. So there is 4 (really 3, Auburn was a Scam Newton fluke) strong teams that are championship teams the past few years. Still doesn't make every other team in the SEC champions or strong teams. For the 3 strong teams, you've got 3 weak teams in Kentucky, Vandy and you can take your pick between Miss. St., Ole Miss, Tenn., and Arkansas the past few years. Yes, you can make the argument that in the BCS era (since 1998), the SEC has more BCS Championships than any other conference, but it's not like every team has won one. You only have 5 individual teams since '98 to have won a championship. Like I said before, every conference has their strong teams and every conference has just as many weak teams. Don't get me wrong, I think Alabama is consistently one of the best teams in the nation hands down the past few years. Nick Saban, while I do not like him, I think he is one of the best coaches in the history of college football. They played like national champions last night, they deserved it. But the other SEC schools don't.

Bcs Championship Bowl
Who hacked my account and said it'd be a close game with ND coming out strong? LOL. Whoops. I bought into the hype for some reason. Personally, all the SEC fans can say the SEC won the national championship and claim it as theirs even if they aren't Bama fans, but the SEC didn't win that game. Nick Saban and Alabama won that game. Just because an SEC team wins the national championship, doesn't mean every other team in the SEC are champions too. Alabama wins, SEC wins, does that mean LSU won too? What about Florida? Tennessee? You see where I'm going with this... ESECPN likes to put all this pressure on this conference won this, that conference lost that, which makes us as fans get caught up in the conference vs conference debate, but conferences really don't mean anything other than money. Every conference has their strong teams and their weak teams. Just my $0.02.

Bcs Championship Bowl
Tough one, seems like it could go either way. I see ND with some bigger motivation coming into this game, against the "mighty sec" and the fact that Bama has been there before recently, whereas its been awhile for ND. I see ND coming out strong, but in the end, Bama just wears them down in a fairy low scoring game. Bama - 17 Irish - 10

Mounting A Solar Panel
I didn't even think about the heat, good point. It was a gift to me from someone, so I figure I'll try it out and see how it works. May not give much of a boost, but if I can find a place to mount it that isn't in the way, it can't hurt, right?

Mounting A Solar Panel
As a Christmas gift, I recieved a Rally 5W Solar Panel battery charger. Seems like it'd be a decent thing to have to keep the batteries charging a little bit while I'm out on the lakes. Question I have is - where to mount it? I have a 16 ft Procraft with 90HP Merc. I can't really mount it to the deck on the carpet because I don't want it to be stepped on when someone is fishing from the back. I was thinking Velcro to the top of the outboard, but I didn't know how well that would work, or if the vibration would mess with it. Any ideas on good places to mount it? Thanks, Steve

Oh Sam!!!!
That's what college football is all about. It's what makes it so much fun, the messing with other team's fans. I grew up in Columbia, so I had to live with the chickens my entire life and even still today with a bunch of them on facebook from high school. I just laugh when I keep hearing SEC this SEC that, it's nice to finally shut the critics up. Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against LSU, they are a heck of a football team and Les Miles is a great coach, but Clemson deserved that win with the way they played and the way Tajh played. LSWheaux?

Oh Sam!!!!
That was awesome!! One of the best games I've ever seen from Clemson! They put everything they had in that game, unbelievable. GO TIGERS!!!

Tree Rat Gun?
Thanks. I will definitely check those out. Are there any good pellet guns that are NOT single-shot and break barrel loaders? Personally I'm not a fan of break-barrels but that seems to be the popular choice of the better guns. Right now my dads is a pump that holds several rounds so he doesn't have to reload after every shot, just pump it a few times. Come to think of it, he might be shooting BBs, I can't remember off the top of my head, but I know he's got both BB and pellet.
