i never fish an original brush hog anymore. but it was my very first confidence bait. now i fish the game hawg when i want a creature bait which is essentially the same thing just better

those are cool. haven't seen em yet. i'd imagine they have a similar, but more erratic action than zoom's speed craw.

i agree slonez...this time of year, bass are fatter than usual so it makes me think my buddy needs to stock some baitfish or craws

thats what i was thinking only because of the wire tie holding the skirt, and the buck hair. actually it almost looks like braided line wrapped tightly instead of wire

beautiful fish paul. sorry to hijack but i wonder why their lateral lines are so prominent this time of year. i caught a few fish this past weekend in a lake where most of the time the lateral lines are pretty faint since the water is normally pretty murky. I always thought sunlight dictated fluctuations in a fish's pigment, but temp seems to play a role. this bass is an example, so is the fish in my new avy.

did the same thing a few nights ago thinking i could just line up the parts as it came apart, but then there were parts within parts and more parts in those parts. i had schematics though and a fishing buddy next to me disassembling the same reel so i wasn't in the dark completely....still much more of a menace than i imagined. took around the same amount of time. now i only have 5 baitcasters to go!!! at least its winter.

can't remember who but i remember a Florida pro talking about how he fishes bull ribbits as slow as he can without em sinking when it gets cold down there

my goal.... slay the bait monkey. also last June i was givin permission to fish a very well managed private lake for a year and i have yet to catch a 10lb + even though i know she's in there, and i have 6 months left to do it. so my next goal is to catch Nadine.
