  1. I wouldn't totally iliminate 2pc rods. They come in handy some times for traveling. I have seen them fly apart though. Maybe some tape would stop that, but i havent tried it yet.
  2. Thats a really small jig! I bet that would work good in some of the ponds I go to, where the average bass is barely a pound. As far as a trailer; maybe a zoom tiny brushhog trimmed a little bit?
  3. I just noticed that too, although I seen that all the anglers were inactive. Im not sure what it means but it probably isnt a big deal. Bring on lake Travis!!
  4. Gary Klien with 37 pounds 4 ounces. That would be cool if he could win his first classic in 25 attempts.
  5. I got in on the last day!!!!! Thanks for starting this up, I had no clue FLW had fantasy fishing, and the prizes look great! Look out!!!! , Dominate Fishers is going for #1!!!!!
  6. I would consider the following variables: water temp. cover type depth of cover sky conditions current size and type of forage fishing pressure water color and then pick the appropriate lure and technique. Hopefully that works .
  7. I use them a lot for bluegill fishing. I just use a small hook with no weigt. They work great. I have even caught bass with them.
  8. I got a nice 8 point buck on opening day of gun season this year. I have pictures but no way of posting them... The inside spread was 16in. My previous best was a spike, so im really happy. I also got a nice doe.
  9. Yeah, I definetly have seen several of those pictures before.
  10. Those are really cool! I think I found some new backgrounds!
  11. Yeah, judging from this past years elite series, Velvick realy isn't that good. If he was better, he could make a whole lot more fishing.
  12. If there is a clearer area of the pond, fish that. It is easyer to catch bass in clear cold water than muddy cold water. Good luck!
  13. Our secret is finally out, there is a young anglers section.
  14. Ponds like that are the best option around me in central Ohio. A bass is still fun to catch whether you catch it in a big lake or a small pond.
  15. I dont play Age of Empires, but I do play Rune Scape. A lot of my friends are starting to play World of Warcraft, but that is 15 bucks a month. I can play runescape for free (non-member). BTW: I think its ok to post pretty much anything on this board.
  16. Ok, pardon me, but im afraid I dont fully understand what you are saying. What you are saying kind of makes sense, but could you just give us the facts? BTW : The link you gave didnt work for me. Thanks.
  17. About 2 inches (seriously). I was using my smallest hook fishing for bluegill. This bass bit and i jerked it out of the water. The fish flew off the hook and went behind me. It was so small I didnt even really hook it. Then I released it to grow bigger.
  18. Yeah, bass definetly DO school. ;D that would be funny though! ;D

I like the FLW jig trailer.
  20. Pretty much the lakes around my area (centerish of Ohio) are not too good. The action is in the ponds. The fish are normally really small, but it beats the lakes we have around here. So I would recommend fishing some ponds accasinally. BTW: Welcome!
  21. I did 7 pages on the formation of B.A.S.S. and its affect on society. That was fun. That would be pretty cool. For english class I did an instructive report on how to fish different lures. It was fun and I got a good grade on it. I have done a bunch of other reports on fishing. Fishing makes school so much easier.
  22. Welcome, glad you picked our forum.
