  2. WOW! Nice fish!! I want to catch one of those somtime as well.
  3. As roadwarrior said, you can post your questian in the Fishing Rods, Reels, Line section. More importantly, !
  4. Ive had this happen before too. My only suggestion would be to set the hook as soon as you detect a strike. I think that may help prevent this a little. However as others mentioned, its part of fishing.
  5. Use a bullet weight unpegged and a EWG hook. Also I like to use it weight less and fish it over weads. They work great!
  6. Well I had the privilage of going up to Lake Erie Wednesday and the fishing was pretty good. My dad and I brought home 10 walleye, two shy of the limit. I also caught about an eight pound sheaphead! I think there is somthing to the solunar tables. Thanks for informing us.
  7. I have two bomber square A's with their hooks rusted up real badly. The loop where the split ring is attached is even rusted. Im not sure if these baits are even salvageable. My other baits faced the same conditions they did and did not rust. So apperently cheaper hooks do rust easier.
  8. Im glad there are people like you that risk their lives to protect people like us. Thanks a bunch! Also thanks for the report!
  9. That is crazy!!!!! I caught a ten pound catfish on a buzzbait once, they can be real agressive somtimes. BTW,
  10. I posted a topic about how to weugh a fish not to long ago. Here is the link: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1179616609/6#6
  11. What's it called?
  12. Great Stuff!!!!!
  13. Im not sure how much it weighed, but that is a huge carp!! How did you catch him? Come on, give us some details!
  14. Ha Ha!! ;D Those are great!!
  15. I was gonna start a topic about this but you beat me to it. Lebron totally dominated. 29 of the last 30 points is AMAIZING!!!!! He totaly owned. The pistons havent won a legit game in this series yet, they don't stand a chance. GO CAVS!
  16. Thats insane. It said he shot it eight times. That thing is huge!
  17. I think the key is to not get any dirt on the bass by placing it directly in top of foot. The best way to kill a fish is probably to just put it on ice and let it die. You can always just throw unwanted bass on the bank. Its better to kill some then to have them all starve.
  18. Stike King's 3X baits float real well. Also the carolina floaters are pretty cool.
  19. Thats just mean...... ;D
  20. Welcome! Hope you will learn a lot here!

You got it! I will remember you and your family.
  23. Pond #1 : I am not really sure why your biggest bass from this pond is just 2 pounds. Maybe keaping some of the large bluegill would help. Also you could try catfishing this pond and see what happens. I would fish this pond, 1 to 2 pound bass are a fun to catch! Pond #2 : Fish this pond when you are willing to sacrifice quantity for quality. If there was a 12 pound bass caught there, I would say the pond is definetley worth fishing. One pond I fish only has like 4 mature bass in it, but they are big for up here. GOOD LUCK!!!!
  24. Ok spearing bass is just wrong...... Those were some huge bass that those guys speared!!! I have no problem with them spearing carp; but bass and muskie, COME ON!!!!!
