  1. Hey, was it one of those "quick change" one's? i bought one of those boat anchor's and the first cast the top blade went one way and the frame went another > stopped buying terminator's after that! Bill Dance can keep em,now all I use are Hildebrant's,and war eagle's,blue shad is my favourite color for war eagle's! junebugmn
  2. Doe's any one remember when strike king came out with thjose stretchable plastic's a few year's ago?well I caught a "ton" of bass on em! I was wondering if any one who still had any would be willing to part with them,I would prefer "junebug" or the darker color's! Thank's Junebugmn 8-)
  3. hey guy's and gal's, I recently went to a local gander mtn store to shop and I wanted to buy a new frog,I came upon a "clearance" bin with Spro frog's in it, but they were all 8.00! Whew! aren't clearance item's supposed to be marked down : junebugmn
  4. I went to a gander mtn store, and lo and behold there was a "clearance" bin loaded with spro frogs, but they were all 7.99! What the heck do you have a clearance bin for, could someone explain this to me? junebugmn : :-X
  5. here's another opinion, why don't you look at the mossy back series,in the 6ft8inch size,I have one and I am told it's the same material as imx,it's very sensitive and your wife might like the look of the rod as far as the blank,I had a sjr-782 imx and caught a 6lb plus bass on it and it had plenty of backbone! junebugmn
  6. Hey guy's I did have a techna-av 7ft med pwr spinning rod that I broke! :-[ But thank's to the people at fenwick,I am very happy now they offered me a rod,a top of the line one I might add and like any red blooded bass angler, I accepted! People have alway's told me that fenwick has world class service and they are right,I found out first hand. Junebugmn p.s. they will probably offer you a Elite-tech rod, talk about sensitive! 8-)
  7. Hey big A, that's true they are factory re-ject's, but it's worth the drive!the saving's average close to 100.00! the 7ft3inch avid rod I bought is a collapsable one, on my 81 ranger the rod locker is only about 6,5 ft long so most or all my rods are collapsable one's, from what i've seen the defect's on thier "second's" are so minuscule that the average person wouldn't notice them anyway, thank's ! junebugmn
  8. I am about a two hour drive from there, it's worth it though!! junebugmn
  9. Has anyone been there other than me? If you want a unbelieveable deal on a st,croix rod get up there in park falls wisconsin,I got a 7ft 3in avid flipping rod for 83.00! All that was wrong with it was the decal was a little crooked! I guess that's why the quality control guy's make the Bigger Buck's. I am planing another trip there soon to get another baitcaster some thing for buzzbaits and fishing brushhog's in heavy cover. Junebugmn
  10. Hey Simp! I just got a fenwick Elite Tech 7ft2in med pwr spinning rod,it's grrrrrrreat,I can feel a 3/16 wt with a Zoom 6in swamp Crawler in 23 ft of water, it's super sensitive got a light tip for throwing those tube's and other light rig's,and it's got a pwerful backbone too! good luck! junebugmn
  11. Hi,I recently had the "Misfortune" of breaking my 2 yr old fenwick spinning rod :-[i sent it in,and a lady rep called me back saying they no longer made that rod and if I would like one of thier new "Elite tech ones, so she asked what kind of fishin I doand I told her BASS becuz anything else that swim's I catch by accident, well they sent me a new rod a 7ft2in jerkin rod I use it for worm's and for my special "finesse carolina" worm fishing, I highly recommend fenwick they have great warranty service junebugmn 8-)
  12. 8-)Hello just a short hello and it's out to the lake,I have beeen fishing for bass since I was ten or twelve year's old,my first memories are of me wading in a overflow on lake vadnais near st.paul, mnwith my heddon spincast reel.up to my waist and a frog colored hula-popper catching bass ina area where you "weren't" supposed to go lol! Boy those heddon's didn't have a very good drag! I eventually graduated up to a new zebco 33 that was like comparing a cadillac to a yugo!! I had that reel for many year's. Well hope to hear from you all! Junebugmn
