Just curious :-?The club i'm in, a tuesday night club, has a biggest bass as far as weight win's the pot, it's 5.00 for the tournament, and 2.00 for biggest bass, while this is great About 3 or 4 time's this year I would have done really good becuz i've caught a lot of legal bass : like last night, in a little over 3hr's I caught 16 bass and all but 4 were 14 inche's or bigger including my biggest which was over 3 lb's, how are your club's run? And how do we go about changing our club "format" to 4 or 5 biggest and total weight? Junebugman

I bought a avid 7ft medium spinning rod recently, and I can't see the logic in spending 3 to 400.00 on a glx! If I had the money I still would get another avid or even go with the g-loomis mossy back or bronzeback, I have a 6ft8inch mossy spinning and I use it for worming too, I just like a spinning rod for my worming, it's your choice! +2 on the 2+4 omc conditioner ;D I had a 81 150 johnson, plug's were wet and oiley before the 2+4, 12 gallon's later they were burning tan to brown and no more oiley deposit's! They also make a "engine tune" that you spray into your "slave" solinoid on your carb's, follow instruction's and enjoy the way your motor will run Junebugman

I am truly surprised that no one has mentioned the often immitated but never duplicated, Johnny O' Neill's Weed Wing has any one ever used one of these? My favorite color was either black, black chrome, or just green with a mr twister tripple tail or a 3 or 4 inch piece of a tripple tail worm from bass pro shop's, I don't know if they still make those either, but the last company to make the weed wing was harrison hoge and they made the frog's. My other favorite is my old devil's horse yellow with black spot's, a color they haven't made for year's! It's retired!! Junebugman

I don't know how many people still use these, but my favorite color is either fire tiger, yellow with black stripe's, or baby bass! Also how do you get the blade's to work when they stick or don't spin? This is frustrating > Thank's junebugmn

I have seen a lot of guy's over do it with the power loading, like the guy said, you just have to back your trailer a little farther in the water, but i've seen a few speed boat's do it too, what this doe's is the force of the prop wash washes or blow's out the end's of the ramp's and create's a serious drop off on the end of the ramp > this can break your axle or bend it or just stick you there! I have seen this happen, also the dnr or local authoritie's have to come out to repair it or dump rock to fill it and eventually it get's taken out of my wallet which i'm not happy with, in increased license fee's etc. Junebugman

Know of a few people who got ticketed for power loading thier boat's after a tournament the boy's were there in a "un-marked" dnr vehicle! I think the fine amount's are over a 100.00, be careful over here in cheeseland. Junebugman

I will or have been out on the water in 35 mph day's but I know a lot of lake's with a lot of bay's and a few lake's that are small that don't get wind affected too bad! Junebugman

Yes thier "b" stock rod's or 2nd's are 40 to 50percent off retail! But for some reason they scrape the legend sticker off the blank :-? they had a whole bin full of rod's some had tip's broke but some didn't, legend elite's are like 300.00 aren't they? They have a lot of avid's, the reason I got my avid for this price is it was a year old had the flat finish which I prefer nayway! Junebugman

My buddy think's it's stupid to do the expediter service What fishing trip isn't worth 50.00!!! I needed a heavier spinning rod for skipping dock's, so I made the "homage" to park fall's wisc to get me a "new" rod ended up getting a avid serie's 7 ft medium, it was a customer return, or was used by a factory employee, it didn't matter!! ;D I got it for 1/2 price, they also had a "bin" of mojo rod's and another bin of rod's with legend elite's in it for 50.00 Later all! Hello, do you still have the owner's manual? If not you'll have to take the handle and drag assembly apart, and there should be at least a couple screw's holding the "gear" housing on, remember, when taking a reel apart put ALL the part's you take off in order so they all go back together the same way, also look up the quantum website they may have a pdf owner's manual you can download also! Away they went to the bottom of balsam lake, wisconsin! Now I have to decide what new pair of glasses to buy? Nice is right! I used to have the slow 4 something to one ratio, used it for spinnerbait's in the spring up here, now still have a 5.58 ratio high speed one I use once in a while, I clean it about once a month just to be safe if you know what I mean, old tackle is so cool if they could talk,oh the memorie's they could tell!!! junebugman
