  1. All you South Florida Snakehead hunters. The Animal Planet folks are coming down april 12 (next thursday) to film a show on the snakeheads. If you are able to take some time off to fish and participate in the show please let me know. This is an informal and non sponsored get together. They want to see some of you weigh in some fish. I know most wil be working and some of you are students, but if your interested just let me know.

  6. She does have a special glint in her eye Incredible!!!
  7. I always look forward to the post spawn feeding frenzy in the everglades. It has begun in the southern most parts of the glades. Robert and I boated over 100 bass way down south. Nine out of ten were caught on a heddon topredo. The biggest I got was 5.5# and Robert had one on that was well over 8#'s....it spit the topredo on a giant leap.
  8. Fished Lox south today..nothing to brag about. All dinks but there are fish on the flats and trails. Heades south tomorrow

  10. Senko fishing can be a blast!
  11. She is a fatty. Congrats to yall.
  12. I have not fished Lox in a month or so and it has been longer than that for Sawgrass Park. Going tuesday to one or the other and would like to know if they are going off. This time last year, Lox was smoking hot. I can't see why it would not be be fishy this year.
  13. That a purty one!
  14. I'am surprised yall are not going out to the Interceptor, that place has been on fire for awhile now.
  15. I love my Carrot Stix! Over the past 4 years I have accumulated about 10 of them. Five were the origional carrot Stix (Two of them have the micro eyes/love them). The last five I got are the PG's. I have another five baitcast on the way. I like the split grips and the sensativity. The hardware is fine. I usually remove the bait keeper. My rods take a beating. I have broken two of the origionals. One was while running from an alligator and it had nothing to do with the construction of rod. The other was in a ceiling fan. I just mailed in the model numbers on the handle and they sent me new ones. There is a replacement fee, but it was reasonable.
  16. I was throwing a handpoured 4 1/2" buzz frog.
  17. I like a 4 1/2" buzz frog with a EWG 6/0 Owner for bug bass in Florida.
  18. Fishing in the rain can be incredible and I love it. If its raining and overcast I'll throw a frog for starters unless its cold. If they won't take a frog then I'll throw a spinnerbait.
  19. I do alot of walking in the swamps and there are indeed some parasites in there. I have gotten a few infestions over the years. My hand swole so bad one week that I could not close it. I like neosporin for all scrapes and ******. S. Florida is a breeding ground germs and viruses.
  20. Thats a good fish Rob. Think I saw you at a light in MG the other afternoon.
  21. I know what you mean Dwight. I don't know why he did that
