Dean Rojas Warmouth!!
I wasn't sold on them until I saw my buddy pitch them around wood. They glide. I will get some for next spring for sure.

Would You Or Wouldn't You?
Not me. Bass fishing is my mental heatlh therapy from my job. What would I do if it was my job ? Finish concrete ? My buddy gave it a go and said ( in our part of the country ) the sacrifice was too much for him. To those that have the passion and have made it, they paid a price to get there I'm sure.

Random Question Of The Day
My dad used that term in the context of, a choice or choosing of two equals or an exchange of two equals. Maybe that's a Canadian thing.

Which Trip Was Better ????
I had the pleasure of taking my three and a half year old grandaughter down to the local resort on my home lake. With some help she caught her first bass, a 4.5 inch MONSTA. She added several yellow pearch. Then it was off to the playground. Friday My buddy and I managed 11 largemouth with the best 5 going over 27 pounds. I contributed a 6-8 and a 4-15. My trip with Olivia was far and above better. That "monsta" was as a good as a ten for her. Special for sure.

Spinning Reel
I totally agree with Stratos Joe. I can't even imagine not applying spinning rods in smallmouth fishing. They excel at presentations for grubs, tubes, small jerkbaits and especially drop shot. For largemouth, skipping a tube under docks and shakey heads or waky worms. New small diameter braid has opened the door for more applications.. Spinning is for real. Options options options.

Line!
My go to line is YoZuri Hybrid. It has low memory, great knot strength, is durable and comes off a spinning and baitcast reel well. I have zero break offs to date. I like braid for punching, frogs and some topwater applications. I also like small diameter braid for some drop-shot applications and use a 100 % flouro leader. For budget line that works well in most all applications, Berkely Big Game would be my choice. I use it for saltwater bottom fishing because you change it after every trip.

Elaztec Plastics
This material has some obvious advantages but it also has a major draw back. If you must texas rig or even tex-pose it can be difficult to get clean penetration on a hook set.

Rate My Combo
Kent, I've heard of G Loomis. I think they are manufactured 25 minutes from my home but I don't own one. The Core is pretty high tech but I recall you had one for sale some time back ? The line is the bomb. I read your OPS on it when I joined and it's all I use now. My 10 of 10 combo........ POPIEL POCKET FISHERMAN with #6 WhoKnows mono. GAME OVER

Few Choices In 7'6" Mhf Rods?
It's more about demand I think. There are several 7-6 cranking rods. For the medium heavy, fast tip look at the Dobyns Champion 764 and look at the line and weight rating. Good luck.

Wake Baits
An Ima Roumba early and late on flat water. The strikes are wicked.

Smallmouth And Bait Size
My buddy got a 4-4 yesterday on a Shell Cracker wake bait. That is a big bait. I caught one on a Super Spook that was shorter than the bait. Smallies are savage little beasts.

How Often Do You Get Skunked?
I often wear a green cap with a big yellow "O" on the front. Many ask me if I am an Oregon Duck fan ? I respond, " No that's how many fish I caught my last time out. I'm on a local forum where my thread name is SKUNK DAWG. I like to tease myself.

Favorite Lipless Crank
YoZuri Drum and Vibe. The original Rattle Trap is a close second. The KVD's have not been good to me yet.

Fall Smallie
Can't get the dad gum pic to load.

Fall Smallie
At least one was decent.

Help Me Pick A Baitcaster Under $150
The Lews Tournament at 139.99 is an excellent reel. I have three Revo SX's and the Lews is by far a better performing reel. The Patriarch at 110.00 is also a heck of buy.

Graffiti/tagging
Why don't we ask the Vancouver Wa. School District. They spent over $80,000.00 cleaning off the illegal artwork from three thoughtful young men. Gang grafitti is paramount to a dog that pees on a tree to mark it's territory. Unless it's planned and done on dedicated property with permission, it's vandalism, plain and simple. A City in Utah provided a wall in a park for " taggers" to display their talents. This was done in hopes to reduce the dmage to private property. The effort was a failure. Taggers are like business people. It's al about location, location, location.

Lady Police Officers
Thank heavens for the pin stripes down the leg of duty slacks. It helps provide a more slender look.. What a sad commentary.

Good Shallow Crankbaits
Bandit 100/200 series are hard to beat. I still like the Luhr Jensen Speed Trap in 1/8 and 1/4 OZ. These are my go to baits in the fall for 5 feet or less.

What Line Do You Use For Pitching ?
#20 YoZuri, #50 Suffix 832 braid. If the water is pretty clear I will drop to #17.

Tried Flipping With Flouro.

Flippin 8 Foot
Wait till you make a hard hook set on a short line and watch that dink fly over your head.
