  1. Just throwing this one out there... How about Trokar? They are made by Eagle claw and they are the best hook on the market. I also use Lazer sharp hooks by Eagle claw all i have to say is good things about them!
  2. I am looking to buy a new rod and was wondering if 150 bucks for a 6'9 med heavy Shimano Cumara is a good deal? Also i was wondering i any one had their own opinion about this rod if so would like reasons to buy or not to buy... Thanks ahead of time Jacob
  3. i don't fish it that much this time of the year but i would bet that drop shot off of main lake points and humps should be very productive.
  4. Good thing he was in our top ten for the flw table rock lake, fantasy fishing
  5. haha i bought one of those things at the local sporting place and threw it one and it ran on its side all the way in. By the way the bait was suposed to dive to 20 feet... I guess it was just a horrible lure.
  6. I usually just keep them inside plano boxes and then bring the boxes that I may needfor a certain lake, and put the boxes in my boat storage. I also have 6 plastic boxes full of different kinds of plastics and other baits. Dang i wish that i had the room for a peg board like some of you guys have just have hardly any space in my small area.
  7. trilene 100% flouro, and gamma flouro works the best for me. i really like drop shotting with flouro or co polymer line because it doesn't stretch as much when i pull back for a light hook set. i also like using it for my flipping and pitching because it has much more feel and abrasion resistance.
  8. definitely bed fishing is a blast! where are the majority of the beds on the lake main body or past the peninsula?
  9. If this is so then what baits would you recomend? bought a few big 8inch swimbaits in hiitch color... how will these work this time of the year?
  10. Here are a few of the baits that I have painted over the last week or so. My favorite ones are the blue and black spinner bait and the trout pattern DD22. What do you guys think?

  20. Heavy cover wood banks pitchin big jigs.
  21. Green in clear water (dosen't show up as much), and clear or green in muddy or murky conditions...
  22. Berkley 100% flouro is my favorite line for fishing on a spinning rod, just because I can get a more solid hook set and will be able to feel the smallest of bites. good luck fishin! ;D
  23. Here is my first shad pattern, There isn's a clear coat on it yet. what do you think?
  24. I've become a big fan of the Picassos Shakedown Shaky head. The paint on the head will with stand any kind of beating at all. The hooks are really sharp just a great head all around.
