i have one of the ones from bass pro and it works great for going down the road, ive had it upto 70 mph with no problems at all, just make sure you tie it down tight and you will be fine. Btw i have a nitro.

i use a hat that looks like those full all the way around bill hats that navy seals wear, works for me and i just put it around my neck when im about to run.

you are right, i have not fished an elite series, i plan on fishing a couple weekend series events this year though. Much lower level though.

at the elites the net thing doesnt really matter in my mind because they just throw the fish over half thte time, and if its a big fish then thats the only time where they actually have to pick it up by hand out of the water.
