  1. i dont think so, but im sure you could find someone that does.
  2. where i live it seems that finesse works most of the time so i have 2, 3700 boxes of finesse only stuff at all times
  3. bass can be caught in any temp just as long as the water isnt boiling and its not completely frozen through the whole lake to the bottem. Fish a drop shot or something else that is really finesse.
  4. It is true that people should fish for enjoyment, but i just feel like if im preforming well at a good level then i should get something out of the sport in return. Its like this for every sport.
  5. Just do a map quest of the route and it will give you the shortest time or shortest distance route.
  6. Ive come to the conclusion that loomis rods are trash, of the few that ive cycled through, ive never been happy with any of them. This is why i went to avids and high end shimanos.
  7. Good tip, everyone i know that has done well all tell me it is best to start at the bottom and work your way up.
  8. i may be wrong but i think a show proved it was a weird crossbread of a dog and something.
  9. If this did happen do you think that they would allow guys to fish in both divisions? because to fish the tournys i want to, i will go to whatever region i need to to fish those tournys.
  10. Shimano curado 5.0/1, the model is CU200E5 for the right handed model
  11. bps is ok, i wish that they had seasons in the game because you can win every tourny that is largemouth or smallmouth by just going to the back of coves. The striped bass though are much harder to find in my opinion.
  12. i cant get out on the water with you but i can try and help. If you have a lake near by that has a powerplant on it which discharges heated water then id start there. You will be able to fish more like it was warmer conditions on these heated lakes. If not then try fishing steap slopes near the shore, such as a channel bend right against the shore. These drops allow the bass to move verticly to do things.
  13. Each unit has there positives and negatives but at the end of the day its pretty much a draw and a shimano vs diawa type argument. I personaly went with the 5inch humminbird though.
  14. make sure that you record the conditions and water temp at the time that you caught the fish

  17. i got some jigging spoons, deep cranks, roboworms, and drop shotting stuff. Cant wait to use my new lures in my pcomin tourny this january.
  18. no you dont. if you have the money and skill, then you could always do flw or bass tournaments.
  19. i am an engineering student so i was thinking of engineering some type of new rod securing and rod rack system that can be used in a boat or pulled out and used as a display or holder in the garage. i Have the item drawn up on autocad and am hoping to start cutting it on the machine tommarow. if i get the final product done anytime soon ill post some pics but i can truly say that this has never been done before and i could not find anything like it anywhere.
  20. i havnt done any research at all on this boat but that would be very impressive in my book if it went 80 with a 225. All my friends boats go 70-72 with the same size engine.
  21. it seems like on the waters i fish that the fish never want a buzzbait when i throw it.

  24. Almost all transoms that ive ever seen have small cracks. The cracks arent bad from what ive been told by mechanics unless they are vertical. if they are horizontal then they are fine. I may have it backwards on which direction is bad though.
  25. how exactly does the lock system take stress off the transom? From the picture i saw, its taking and just putting a wedge in between the trim cylinders and the lower unit. maybe im missing something though but id rather stick with my conventional transom saver.
