St Croix Mojo Bass Trigger Rods
I own 3..topwater, crankbait and slop n frog. Yes they are all tip heavy, but I love them. So far very durable and tough to beat at the 100 dollar price point. I did however pick up a veritas this winter and I think I will be getting a few more. I am sure you will love the swimbait rod, go to the store and put your reel on it and see how she balances and if it feels right go for it. They are solid rods for the $

Shimano Curado 200E7 Or Chronarch200E7?
Just get the curado, I read or heard somewhere that the new chronarch is "last year's curado dressed up in a tuxedo." Wish I could remember who said that,..hilarious

Possibly Dumb Graphite Question
I could be wrong but I believe that graphite (which is basically carbon) has fibres that are stiffer than say fiberglass. This makes for a very sensitive blank, and in most cases a lot more sensitive than a fiberglass rod with the same taper.

Eye Color Of Bass
I have heard that the smallmouth up here in Ontario have red eyes sometimes from cross breeding with Rock Bass!!!!!! I think its just a bunch of malarky tho...who knows!??

School Project
My only advice wouldt be to just not string the videos together, add some text and music and hand it in. If I were you, I would make sure there is a little more substance and depth to the video. What I mean by this is maybe have some sort of storyline, like a day in the life of an angler. Opening scene might be you waking up when its still dark out, packing your gear, making breakfast and heading to to your honeyhole. Then you could show the struggles and triumphs of a day of fishing through your eyes. Or you could even do your own fishing show, with tips and tactics and different segments. Im just talking out loud but make sure when you are putting this together, your priority is to keep the attention of someone who is not a fisherman! Good luck!!

Best Baitcaster For Less Than $100
Id like to add that I would have put down citica (I own both but like the citica a little better) but I thought you meant under $100 msrp. I would definitely pick up the citica if you can find it sub 100 bucks.

Help With Organizing Soft Plastics!
Funny. I'm not going to defend why I like the system that I have. Like I said, through trial in error (which includes putting my plastics in boxes doesn't work well for me) I am already very organized and content with my current system. Thanks for your opinion though. Being organized with tackle is no different than being organized with anything else. You work through different systems until you find one you like and is a matter of personal preference. There is no right or wrong answer here. What might work good for you, doesn't for me and vice versa.

Help With Organizing Soft Plastics!
Im glad it works for you, as a co-angler, and fishing from my kayak, my system works for me. I can probably find a green pumpkin beaver in my ziplock as fast you can find one in your plano. These are all just suggestions for the person that asked, based on one's own experience.

Help With Organizing Soft Plastics!
I see you tried Ziplock Bags already but what didn't you like about it? When you buy your plastics, keep them in their original bags and then organize them into categories. Then put each category into a jumbo 2 gallon ziplock bags. You will be amazed at how many bags you can get into one of those. You can fit probably 2-3 times as many baits in a 2 gallon bag then you could fit in 1 plano 3600.

Creek Channel
Do the cold clear "natural" lakes that I fish in Northern Ontario have creek channels? Or are creek channels typically structure that you find in a man made resevoir? When looking the maps for the lakes that I fish, there is no creek channel defined on the map! Thoughts?

Budget Priced Micro Rods
Looks like a pretty good deal on that rod. Its worth a try at 50 bucks for sure. They veritas micro rods are priced around the 100 dollar mark which is also a good bang for your buck microguide rod.

Shimano Stella
Seems like they can be had for a bargain...hmm..at 300 dollars maybe I am a little bit closer to being in the market now.

Vmc Spin Shot ?
- First Baitcaster?
I love my citica 200e's. Have 3 of them. The VBS system that they have is amazing in terms of decreasing backlashes. It is a very consistent system. For a beginner, pop out 4 breaks, set the spool tension knob so your lure falls at a slow rate when the clutch is depressed, and you will be able to cast without even using your thumb. Performance is great as well and if you take care of them, you can't beat shimano's durability.- Worm Weight
Yeah BPS Bobber Stops are your best bet. They are a little tough to get on 65 lb braid tho, but they will slide on with some effort.- Hey Boys
Josh, my wife is looking at the computer screen and she is offended that you would assume that only boys go on bassresource.com Congrats on the win - First Baitcaster?
