Havin a good start here so far. We just got started seriously about a week and a half ago and had our first tournament of the season this past Sunday. I got lucky and actually won one, FINALLY. The fish definitly seem better than last season so far, can only look forward for a little warmer weather.

Well, I got out for the first time last Saturday and got 1 in about 30 minutes of fishing before taking a couple guys crappie fishin. Got my first tournament of the season tomorrow and now this weather is gonna mess it up, I think. Anyone got any tips? Prespawn cold front.

I have a '94 Ranger 364v and one of my aerator pumps is dead. I cannot figure out how to get it out of there, spent an hour on it tonight with no luck. I was told its a quick disconnect and should only turn 1/2 turn and come off but it doesn't move at all. Does anyone have any experience with this. Thanks

Is this show worth the trip for me? I am 40minutes from Morris and don't want to waste a day for a so-so show. Any good deals?

I love these spinnerbaits. I agree the skirts are not the best but its nothing to replace if you choose to.

My best LB was 23", 7.5 lbs, caught on a 810 acre lake, June 17th over 27ft of water on a Chrome/Black Risto Rap. Fish were schooled up chasing shad over an old creek channel.

Can anyone hear tell me the differences between the two? Are there any major drawbacks to an external puck? This will be my first GPS unit and am getting overwhelmed with all the possibilities. These two I have found for what I think are good prices.

I am firm believer in getting a limit then trying to upgrade. That way I concentrate on fishing. Never second guess yourself if you are fishing your "spots"

Just found this site and love it. I am in the far west of Chicago, Sandwich, about 1 1/2 hrs from the city. I live on Lake Holiday and started tournament fishing here with the club last year and am hooked. I've fished for years in particular bass fish, but never tournaments. I fish some in southern Illinois at times when I can get away as well as N. Wisconsin for a week in the summer. Right now ice fishing is king but I am ready for some warmer weather!!!
