Im from SW sub of Chi, Oak Forest. I usually take a ride out to the cooling lakes because its the only they are the only ones that don't discriminate against my 150 yammie lol. I do make several trips to shelbyville late march-june if we wanted to put a group together. Usually camp out at lithia springs. If anyone is making a trip out to the cooling lakes feel free to hit me up if they are lookin for some company.

'05 alumacraft tourny sport 175 w/ a 150 yammie on the rear. Isn't the greatest "bass boat" but it gets the job done wile providing a platform that can comfortably fish 3 seat 4 and partake in water sports.

Check ww/w. iboats.co/m and look in your area for listings. (sry for butching the spelling, couldnt post it otherwise) I found my boat there. The condition that boat appears to be in is extrememly used and rarely garage kept. Good luck on your first purchase. Its an exciting one! I bought mine in august and im still on the high. I absolutely love the E7 and considered an E5 when lookin for a cranking set up. I chose to go with the abu garcia winch. Check it out, the drag is one of the bests on the market and its just as smooth if not smoother than the 200E series, for an extra $20. THe best part is that you can go to bass pro shops and pick one up and they have a rebate for a free pair of wiley X polarized sunglasses listed at $126 a pair. Kinda makes it worth it.

I have myself a real bad case of cabin fever and found this website. Poked around for a week and absolutely enjoyed articles and forums, such a huge wealth of knowledge. I grew up in the south west suburbs of Chicago and fished every minute i could. I still get out every chance i get.
