Some Perch Swim Jigs
Here a couple of swim jigs I put together for someone this week. I really like airbrushing the heads, it gives them a whole different look. This is a dulled down perch. I didn't want it to look too much like firetiger. The other is a version of tequila sunrise. Next up, sexy shad.

7" Culprit Worms
They used to make a 4" finesse worm that was great. They dicontinued it I guess. Haven't been able to find them in a long time. They also had a color called chocolate mint that worked real well. It was a blue brown mix.

What Would You Have Followed Up With
Once it's hooked I don't know how much there is to follow up. If it swipes a the bait it's one thing, but to fight it for a little, I don't think it would bite again that fast.

Braid W/ Leader?
I spooled a spinning rod w/ 20lb power pro and added an 8lb yozuri hybrid leader (approx 6 ) using a double uni knot. Not on fish, but when I get snagged and try to pull in out it always breaks at the knot, never down the leader. I assume the braid is cutting the leader? Any suggestions or reasons? Thanks.

Arkie Heads
Are these Arkie heads from Arkie, or are they Arkie type from another manufacturer? I use ones that are poured with Mustad Black Nickle's and have never had a problem. Maybe this is he way to go. Get them done privately and choose your hook. If your interested, Cadman on this site pours some great stuff.

Spinnerbait Blades At Night
Fish the same baits and colors as during the day. My go to baits at night are an all white buzzbait, blade and skirt and a Nichols Pulsator spinnerbait in white gold color. I do well with dark colored plastics though.

Attn: Jig Experts Netbait Paca Jig?
Just tried again, still no good. I pm'd someone else, no problem. Shoot me an email about the jigs at backwater4@verizon.net if interested. I know when they switch the site all pm's had to be cleared, maybe this is the issue.

Bass Pro Shops & Sales Tax?
It's not that I minded paying (well, ya I do) but I was caught off guard. Really nothing I buy there is exclusive to them, it's all just normal stuff I can purchase anywhere.

Bass Pro Shops & Sales Tax?
It used to be a deal to buy online, but with increased shipping and tax now, it's cheaper to buy locally or from small custom guys.

Jigs, How The Heck
Cast to a target or good looking bank, hop it, drag it or swim it slowly back to the boat or bank. It's a very simple bait to use and once you get that first bite, you'll be hooked. It's fished like a worm.
