Good advice. Just ask for gift certificates, like I do. BPS, LPO, *** all great places to shop.

Hand poured/ Hales craw worm style
Don't know where to get them, but those were some great baits. Black and Blue, texas rigged or as a jig trailer worked real well.

Santa Dan in upstate NY
Welcome. I'm jealous, Champlain is awesome. Just too long a drive to fish consistantly.

Blowed up (swollen) Long A's
Hey, I did that years ago. Left a couple on the dash of the truck. They sure blew up all right. Beyond hope. Thats cool how you took the time to figure out how to do that. Very interesting.

since bass are heading into deeper water what lure to use
Don't know where your fishing, but here in the north it's blade bait time. Silver Buddies and vertical spoons (Hopkins) work well over deep structure this time of year.

dardanelle special
Nice bait. Is that on an Arkie head?

New Angler
Welcome. Nice job in the tournaments.

drop shot fishing in the northeast
Vertical drop shot Candlewood all the time. Especially this time of year, the fish move to the deeper structure in 20-30'. Never really did it the other way, looks like I need to try this.
- Chartreuse shad!

spoons and bass
1/4 and 1/2 Hopkins fished over deep structure go hand in hand with blade baits. By alternating, it sometimes adds a few more fish. I like both of these baits this time of year when the fish move to deeper water.

Rod, Reel and Tackle Storage
Cold shouldn't be an issue, all my stuff is in an unheated garage in NY. Same weather. I think cold is better than heat. As long as it's protected I think your all right.

Bullet heads
Nice looking jig. How do you get such good pics, mine come out like crap?

Let talk Swimming Jigs(Rod/Reel)
7' Team Diawa MH w/ 6:3.1 reel. For line, I go with Trilene Big Game 15lb green. I tried braid, but felt I was pulling the bait away from some fish to soon.

Rabbit fur jigs
Jensenjigs.com E mail or call, the info is on the website. He makes really nice stuff, I've used his hair jigs for years.

Silicone spray
I've used reel magic for a while. Didn't really seem to make a difference. I did have a non boater in a tournament spray his lures with WD40, like it was attractant. He did catch a few.

help needed
Blade baits (Silver Buddy) and spoons work well for deeper susp. fish feeding on shad.
- Buzzbait weight

Let talk Swimming Jigs(Rod/Reel)
Aaron, Thanks for the compliments. I've been experimenting with a 1/4 and 1/2 Arky style, which seems to ride very nice through the water. I also tried a couple of the 3/16 grass style with that double wire, like we made up. The double wire balances out the bait. Size thrown most often: 1/4 Arky Colors: Perch or Metallic Brown Orange

Deadly Blue and Bluegill
Very nice, the black and blue look wild.
