  1. So I've been using my Airbrush more and more, and have been running water through the cup and cleaning it out with a wet paper towel in between paints and after words I will wipe down the needle carefully with the wet paper towel. I have had a few times when the paint won't come out when I'm trying to do fine(small) stripes or lines. Is it the paint or my negligence ? It was once with Black opaque paint and pealized paint
  2. I didn't see e-tex in Michael's today....so do you apply these by hand (brush) or do you spray them? @BIG M Where do you get some of that how user friendly is it?
  3. Ok, Ok I searched and didn't find anything. So I figured I post the question here. I want to use a clear coat over my Createx painted baits. I have heard of Devcon 2 ton epoxy & Environ-Tex. I don't care if I get it locally or online just want to get some. So what should I get. I have a old rod drying wheel that I am fabricating to work for my cranks. Opinions?
  4. I've used the Ochos for a while now and have caught some nice bass on them, whacky rigged or even t-rigged. They Catch Fish. I've caught some high 4lb and 5lb bass on them
  5. That looks good !
  6. I know on the RES that the treble hooks are not exactly the best on the market IMO. I have had several break off and become bi-hooks. So I switched to BPS hooks in their assortment pack for around $5 so it was a good deal. But they aren't much better. So what hooks do y'all step up to? I saw in this issue of Bassmaster Mag. that KVD steps up to No. 2 Mustad short shanks. What do y'all recommend? I want to get something that is sharp yet strong for these pesty Hybrid Striped Bass that are straightening out some of my hooks > Thanks
  7. I am loving the RES and Xr50 I've used both of them in the past but this year they produce a lot more fish. I don't like the Rat-L-Traps as much. I don't like how the flutter when you pause compared to the xr50 and RES
  8. I use the dingers and the ochos one is from YUM and one is from SK. I fish them either weightless on a whacky rig, texas rigged, or sometimes on a shaky head
  9. I have been using the Berkley Tru Locks and have liked them and caught a few fish on them. I like them
  10. I use the Owner Mosquito 2/0 hook or the owner finesse/whacky hook
  11. I have only used Revos since I got back into the baitcaster game last year. I lvoe my Revo SX and have fished the Revo S and love them both. I like the fact that they are super small lightweight and cast really well. I just recently bought a citica 200E and I was a little scared to be honest but I've caught a couple on it so far and LOVE IT. I can cast little worms really well. I think both reels are great can't go wrong with these quality companies
  12. Their SW stuff I love !!!! But I have yet to catch a single fish on the GULP! for FW I've fished several of there stuff and haven't caught anything so I just give them away
  13. used the 50lb test yesterday for the first time. I have a lot of pros for it and a couple cons. I really like the coating that is on this line compared to the PP. It is much smoother and doesn't chip off it does bleed off when water gets on it, but i've yet to have braid that doesn't do that the first couple times. I like the castablity of it the most. I can whip out a small finesse worm with little to no problems on my citica. I did have one problem though. I was fishing a C-Rig and had a bite and set the hook and it sound like a gun went off the line snapped above the sinker But besides that I like it so far I will fish with it some more and get back to y'all
  14. Just picked up some 50lb Sufix this afternoon at BPS gonna spool it up in the morning and hit the lake
  15. I just got a pack of these in Bama Bug, do y'all just pitch these on a T-Rig and fish like any other creature bait. THese things are dead sexy
  16. Yeah I've had some short bites but I haven't been able to see followers. So should I have gotten SS instead FS?? I figured it would be better to have it down deep....
  17. Great Suggestions especially the reel/rod suggestion. Get you a Sedona or Sahara 2500 and enjoy it for a lifetime
  18. I have a Tru-Tungsten Shad 4" bait in wake/slow sink The Spro is a FS as well as the Castaic Soft plastic one Our lake is 13' max it averages 8' though this time of year we have about 2' of visiblity. We are getting ready to fertilize the water and then it gets down to 12"-20"
  19. Well I read TackleTour's review on the three super braids: Troyar, Daiwa Samuari & Sufix They rated Sufix the highest in the 50lb group in overall criteria
  20. I don't see a difference between them and the Mirrolure Top Dog honestly. They claim they have different pitches
  21. That's a deal, man I wish we had a Dick's around here we have a BPS that has hardly any bass tackle (we are coastal) more SW than FW >
  22. Gary Yamamoto SENKO OWNER HOOKS* if you wanna save some cash step down to some Gamakatsu hooks 2/0-4/0 offset worm hooks Some zoom lizards & finesse worms what I did as a kid learning how to fish I would pick the colors that only had one or two packages left on the peg, so more people must be catching bass on them ;D Maybe a spinnerbait or two.
  23. Ok ok yeah another swimbait fishing question. Let me start out with listing what I have Spro 4" Shad (Killer Gill) YUM Money Minnow 4" (Hitch) Castaic Sunfish 6" Castaci Bluegill & Baby Bass 5" Storm Shad Swimbaits Mann's Hardnose 6" (Black Back/white) Sebile Magic Swimmer (Bluegill) Ok so I've been fishing them SLOW, around our man made structure we have put out in our lake. I am using a Abu Garcia Orra SX matched to a Shimano Crucial CRC70MH 7' I have only caught a few fish on them. Our water also isn't crystal clear could that be the problem? Should I be throwing them on spinning tackle instead? HELP! :'( Thanks Guys
