  1. Plug...definitely the plug...Twice last week. Once on my boat and once on my buddies. No sinking though!!!
  2. There's a lot of truth in that post right there!
  3. We were fishing on the White River (in Indiana) one evening and I hooked something that started swimming upstream. By the time we got the anchor up and started the motor it broke the 40 pound braid that I had on that setup like it was thread. I'm thinkin' big flathead
  4. It's a good area with a lot going on. Monroe is one of the better lakes in the state. Enjoy!
  5. I use them on any rod that I might be casting cranks, jerkbaits, or swimbaits on.
  6. Love em!
  7. I'm in. I like frogs!
  8. If it's that windy, I generally do the drift. I drag soft swimbaits on or near the bottom.
  9. Hell yes!!! I remember watching it sitting at the kitchen table with Grandpa...Saturday after the evening news.
  10. I have to agree. I've done well on them too!
  11. When I was a teenager, I was bank fishing a pond with a hula popper. I was trying to keep it from getting hung in the moss so I gave it a nice jerk. It sailed right over the moss and right into the underside of my right wrist...Grandpa pushed it on through and cut the barb off. I've been hooked without getting barbed more times than I can count by friggin' trebles...
  12. I don't know how well they (wipers) tolerate warmer water, but in the summer it's hotter than bathwater. Plus it's full of oscars and other crap people dump out of their fish tanks...
  13. South side ramp. No permits, just a fee paid at the check in. If it's windy, DON'T LAUNCH!

I once caught a huge snapping turtle on a jig...and that has been IT!
  15. When they killed out the weeds (allegedly), they ruined the fishing (and put a pretty good dent in the duck hunting). It's crap compared to what it used to be.
  16. Got out this weekend and caught 4 in a short while. Found some warmer water and they were in about 5 feet of water. Wild Eye Swim Shad on the bottom
  17. Dave from Farmersburg in Sullivan County. I fish Minny, Shakamak and Greene Sullivan mostly!
