Went to wilde lake today for the first time and caught 5 fish, also lost one that was probally around 3ish. Only fished an hour all came on jig and one on the good ole senko. Do you walk around the lake even the sides with the houses on it? Does anyone tend to say much for you fishing it? Also saw a dead bass that was at least 5 pounds in a cove.

Jigs are often very effective. This year I've been bed fishing a white chaterbait with a lake fork magic shad trailer and the bass absolutelly crush it! Slowly reel it up to their bed and then drop it in the bed lift it once to get that chatter going and let it drop back in they're bed and just watch them inhale the lure set hook hard and have fun

its hard to say doesnt look all that deep throw out some bread and see if any bluegills stir up thats a first step.

I would love to give a tournament a shot but would be limited to a 15 ft. jon boat any tournaments in the richmond area in which this would be possible?

Dont like the snap swivells they can break and often become tangled in your lure. I only use them if i am fishing on particular lure a swimming worm; and the reason i use it in that case is because the ball bearing swivell gives it a better action.

countless fish this year have came on the rage craws somtimes as jig trailers other times just texas rigged such a great versatile bait.

Went out to a lake today and caught alot of fish just nothing of much size. Did get one pretty lady though that went #5. most fish came on a rage craw but this one came and ate a lipless crank

i respect that 100 percent at least you have a policy on it i just cringe when people take big momas full of eggs out of a lake. Yea i only eat green fish I like them blackend. But ill keep 2lbers and under everything larger then that gets released

it kills me to see so many dead bass, but its the person who catches them right to keep them. anyway looks like a decent day.

Thanks for the help wayne and everyone else! Since often my dad isnt up for fishing I am going to start doing this. It doesnt seem too bad, backing up the trailer isnt a problem since ive been doing it for a while now. and with some practice im sure this wont be too bad either.

whats the best way to put in a jon boat when you are alone. its on a trailer of course any help is greatly apprecaited.
