  1. When you say years you mean never, right? Norm van Brocklin doesn't count as a good qb.
  2. right after the cooking forum....
  3. I like the 1/2 oz, color usually doesn't matter to me, I have a dozen different colors and they all work. The 3/8 is a tad small for my liking.
  4. Thats an ok price, not really good though. Those reels can be had for around $115-$130 in good condition on the auction site. Ive had a bunch of those reels, and they are great. I paired mine with a MH 7'-7'3" rod, works well for me. The MG usually fetches in the $150 range, another great reel.
  5. And as far as roids, nobody is innocent anymore. I think papi is probably riding now, but I also think every team has a handful of guys like that. It is what it is at this point. I also believe that there was a group of guys in the 70s doing it as well, but it's so far back it gets ignored.
  6. Who cares if they eat it..no cap so it doesn't matter.
  7. I see what you did..missed an e though.
  8. As I read thru this thread I'm hearing banjos...and they're dueling..
  9. That thing is so small it's almost invisible.
  10. Cmon buddy..your way better than that..weak.
  11. I heard from silas today..his entire town was wiped out by a flood, his house miraculously survived but he said it's bleak down there. Keep him and his neighbors in your thoughts, they need all the help they can get.
  12. Didn't uncle Jesse have a still?
  13. that might be the record, but the igfa will not recognize it as it was foul hooked.
  14. JFrancho is right on this one. I have both the spro rat and a bunch of slammers. The slammers outcatch the rats on my boat. They do cost about $10 more, but they are floaters so you won't lose them, and they will catch more fish for you. The slammer is a handmade lure, the rat is a mass produced lure..you would be supporting a guy that makes baits as opposed to a shareholder board.
  15. the mini slammer gets bit, no question about that.
  16. Social security number, bank account number, next of kin, and of course...mothers maiden name. If you post it here that would be easiest, that way everybody with an invention can use your info.
  17. Good point..there's no matts at bps..
  18. Also depends on your gear..the hardgill and gantarel are around 2oz, the spro and r2s are 1 or under.
  19. I've used everything you mentioned. Personally, I would get a mattlures hardgill. If your new to swimbaits maybe start with the spro or river2sea, but if you wanna jump right in, go with the matts and/or the gantarel.
  20. Wow, I see strike king and Rapala in those colorings. They are most likely bagley in name only..unfortunately.
  21. Hey...that's what I said.
  22. BBB is based on businesses that pay the membership fee to join them, making it biased in my opinion. Word of mouth and references are the way to go.
