I caught a 9.5 from a local pond...25 years ago, before the cell phone pic taking convenience. I wish we had cell phones then..plenty of pics I wish I could have. I did weigh it with one of those old style spring scales, so coulda been 9.25 or 9.75, who knows, they weren't like the digital scales we use now. Been chasing the large ones in that pond ever since, there are a couple of 10+ in there, I am positive of that.

They both work but I prefer the thump of the boottail.

When I was a kid I would hit the pond for bank fishing every day during the summer. I would get there at dawn and often find floating lures that had washed ashore. My 2 most memorable are a heddon meadow mouse and a heddon hedd hunter. Still have them.

Deps makes quality lures. They came up with a knocker system that emits a vibration, they used it in a couple baits. I really like deps so of course I had no choice but to buy a couple..of everything.

I would buy a cheapie cable off ebay, make sure both ends are correct and try it out.

The pulse cod is a gimmick, it emits a vibration to "attract" fish, not saying it doesn't work, or that I don't own a couple..

Members only lures come in different sizes. You mistakenly purchased small ones, get familiar with millimeters and grams if your gonna buy from Japanese sellers.
