  1. I wanna get some Fireline with the diameter of 12 lb test (forgot the actual Lb test) for my baitcaster. It's multipurpose, but I mainly use if for jigs. Is Fireline a good choice for multipurpose fishing?
  2. Storm wildeye swim shad. Cheap, and the action is incredible.
  3. Okay thank you guys! I'm excited to get it.
  4. It's a V6, and it has 148000 miles on it, so Iam going to have to take good care of it.
  5. Hello, I am getting a 97 Ford Explorer for my first car. It's 4 wheel drive so I should be able to go "off roadin" to get to those isolated ponds around where I live. And it has enough cargo space for my fishing stuff. Have any of you guys owned one of these suvs? Are they normally pretty reliable? Thanks,
  6. 1. Storm Wildeye Swim Shad 2. Zoom plastic worm 3. Lipless crank 4. X- Rap
  7. I know there is no such thing, but do you think it could happen? In the right environment maybe.
  8. I use them more than any other plastic. Just seem to catch fish on them , then any other soft plastic. Maybe because I fish farm ponds.
  9. Bet that put up a great fight!
  10. I would find the place where all the rain washes into the lake. I think that's where most of the fish will be.
  11. I like using small swimbaits for ponds. Very versitile
  12. Well maybe since bass grow with age, all the longer bass are older, and have been conditioned to fishing lures.
  13. I'm gonna be fishing a strip pit for the first time this weekend. I'm betting that the water is gonna be clear so I'm thinking of starting with a shakeyhead. Could you guys who have experience fishing strip pits give me some advice? I'm gonna be on my bellyboat so I should be able to cover water quickly considering the pit is not that big. Thanks,
  14. A t-rigged worm, and try swimming it. I've had alot of succes on that in ponds where there are mainly bluegills for forage.
  15. There are days when I wish I was fishing with a pro. Not against them, but they would be there so they could give me tips on where to start, and gve me some tips on what lures to start with.
  16. Ya, that's the one I was talking about. Except I meant going WEST (not east) into Blue Springs. I've only seen one boat on it even though I've driven past it countless times.
  17. Nice fish!
  18. I know this isn't exactly related to what you guys are talking about, but what's the name of the lake right before you hit Blue Springs along I-70 going east? I looked at it on google earth but it didn't have a name. It's past Grain Valley, and it's right before NE Adams Dairy Pkwy. Thanks,
  19. I just got some 50 lb braid for my baitcaster, and I'm having the toughest time cutting it! I've tried scissors, but those are even having a tough time cutting through the braid. Is there a tool that specializes in cutting braid? What do you guys use? Thanks,
  20. I think it would be apporpiate to thank all the service members on this forum for risking thier lives, so that we could keep our freedom. You guys are heroes in my book.
  21. Well looks lke you're hooked now! Good job!
  22. Well I perfer Super Spot, because it's alittle cheaper, and the Rat L Traps I had never ran true.
