  1. Okay I'll look at those too forsure.
  2. I was looking at some binders because I want to keep the plastics in their original packages, but I think I'm going to get an FTO speed bag, or two.
  3. What do you guys use to carry your soft plastics?
  4. Accomplishments~ Caught a decent bass on a crank bait( 2 and a half pounds exactly). Learned how to cast my bait caster and even caught a few fish on it. Learned how to properly Texas rig, and I finally can catch bass consistently on a variety of soft plastics. I Caught some nice fish on a jig, and lipless crank bait. Goals~ Expand my skills on jig fishing, and also get fluorocarbon line. But the two biggest ones are fish larger lakes even though I'm beating the bank, and get good at fishing crank baits.
  5. Well I think I'm going to go with the Trilene 100% seems to have everything I'm looking for. Thanks for all the advice.
  6. W/b the Berkley Vanish stuff? Is that any good??
  7. Wow, that's impressive fosure! I'll have to look into Triline. Beautiful fish btw!
  8. Well next year I'm going to start putting 12 pound test flouro on my Baitcaster. I read through a few of the articles about them, but which brands do you guys prefer? I am thinking about Seaguar Red Lablel, because it's a cheaper line but stil got good reviews.
  9. Well it never gets cold enough to completely freeze the lake I'm planning to fish at. Maybe little ares, but nothing extreme.
  10. I didn't get out this year much at all compared to other years, because of football. Well now that football is over I have alot more freedom so I'm thinking of heading out this winter to "catch up" alittle. Anyone here hardcore winter fisherman that could give me some tips? I know I need to slow down, and use much smaller lures but does anyone know of any specific ones that work for you? I'm think of going out after christmas cuz I'll have money to buy more lures that might work. Thanks,
  11. Cotton Cordell Super Spot has produced well for me in the past. I've actually had quite a bit of trouble with Rattle Traps.
  12. Maybe since the weather has colled down cause of fall the fish are more active, and are looking for something alittle faster like a spinerbait, or chatterbait.
  13. Well the problem is I live in a super small town so there are no outdoor shops anywhere. And that's some good advice Bluebasser86. I was thinking of buying a Longbow, cause I don't want a compound with all the strings, and pulleies it might break casue I'm just a beginner.
  14. I kinda want to start bowhunting, but honestly I have no idea how, or what to start with. What would be a good beginner stater set?
  15. If I don't have ball practice I come home straight from school, finish my homeowork then I fish till dark.
  16. Yesterday my dad's friend took me, and my dad out onto Truman lake on his boat to fish for crappie. Boy we slammed them! I'm sure we boated atleast 100 fish in a whole day of fishing. They all ranged from 8 to about 13 inches, with 9 or ten inchers being the majority of what we caught! I even caught a few nice bass on a lipless crankbait! It was one of those days that you remember even when u get skunked that make you want to come back. The only downside was I got the worst farmers tan ever!
  17. Maybe the bass were trying to hit the lure to stun it our something, then it would be easier to chase down and eat.
  18. Those look liek some nice fish! Where were u fishing?
  19. Go back to the good ole' days, and use a worm, bobber, and hook! Haha maybe catching a lot of little bass, and bluegill will bring back some confidence.
  20. Thank you for your service!
