  1. On shore.. four. But I can only carry three on my float tube, and then I usually carry my only baitcaster, and two spinning.
  2. When Iwas younger I just loved to fish with worms and catch bluegills, and some catfish. But one day I was this old crankbait that someone left ,and I knew they were for bass. I had not caught many bass before this so I tied it on, and gave it a whirl. The first cast I hooked one that was actualy pretty decent, but I didn't tie the knot tight enough and the fish broke off. So then I was hooked, and the next day bought three more Rapala crankbaits.
  3. That's really neat! And by raw milk do you mean milk straight frm the cow with no pasturization?
  4. Work on a Diary Farm.
  5. I've never used Curl Tail minnow but I've had alot of success on the Storm Wildeye Swim Shad. I think Storm makes good lures, so I'm sure the minnow will catch fish.
  6. I'm the proud owner of a fat yellow lab, by far the best lab in my neighborhood. I'm pretty sure she was bred to eat, because whenever she sees food, she's on full alert. What's special about my dog is "Back in her prime she was a skinny dog, but now she's kinda let herself go...so she's no longer AWARD WINNING, but is a pretty good dog otherwise". I would give you the link to my dog's website but well it's too top secret.
  7. I use my Vendetta for cranks, and I love it. Great rod!
  8. X-Rap forsure!
  9. If he's in America I hope he gets caught.
  10. I know there are two lakes- Lake Bueto, and Lake Clearfork. Has anyone fished them, if so how was the fishing? I'm looking for lakes that would be good for a float tube around Central Missouri. thanks,
  11. No pictures, but I went fishing today in my new float tube. I only caught two bass (I did more flipping then fishing), but it was a cool experience. I caught them both on a t-rigged plastic lizard; one was a dink, but the other one was a solid two or three pounder (it was pretty neat watching it jump at eye level). It was alittle ackward fishing in the tube at first, but the longer I fished I seemed to get the hang of it.
  12. I'm pretty sure they would be more active, and shallower. kinda like after winter, and when the water warms drastically, they go up into the shallows. Just my .02 though.
  13. I've heared that thier blood doesn't clot, but idk forsure. I was just thinking about it because I've caught many fish that where the hook was on their lip they started to bleed alittle bit. If their blood doesn't clot then will they eventually die from blood loss? Thanks,
  14. I just picked up an Abu Garcia Vengeance rod from Wal-Mart. It's a 6'6 MH and I'm going to be fishing T-Rigged plastics, and some lipless cranks. Is this a good rod for the money? I foolishly bought it before I looked at the reviews, and they're very mixed. Just want to get some other input. thanks,
  15. Nothing terrible, but one of the ponds I fish has an electric fence all along one side of the lake. well I was fishing on a fallen down tree in the water, and as I was trying to get down I slipped, scraped up my knee real bad, and landed right on the electric fence. Shocked the crap outta my arm.
  16. So one of the ponds I fish (five acres) the owner seems to think his pond is overpopulated, but all the fish you catch are between 12 and 15 in. plus they're really fat. I've caught one alittle over five pounds and another guys caught two eight pounders out of it. How do you tell if a pond is indeed overpopulated? Because one guy alone took 50lbs of fish out of it last year, so I'm thinking that it's balanced. And there's tonnes of minnows and big bream in the water.
  17. Could you guys tell me the difference? Which one would be best for Texas Rigged Plastics? Thanks,
  18. Pretty much all I fish are farm ponds, but it seems like the owners stocked them like twenty years ago and haven't done a thing with them since. The bass are maybe alittle more aggresive then in a big lake but it sure isn't like shooting fish out of a barrel.
  19. Any of you guys use a float tube for bass fishing? I think it would be really fun on ponds. Thanks,
  20. Thank you guys for the great information!
  21. Maybe the bass are overpopulated, and stunted.
  22. I haven't really fished many large lakes considering I don't have a boat, but I want to start this spring. Could you guys give me some tips? I'll need any advice I can get. Thanks,
  23. Nice! But why do you carry a gun while fishing? Just outta curiousity
