  1. That spot has super spook written all over it!

Spro King Daddy, it's a big fish catching machine!
  3. Had blast these last couple of days fishing a local lake. Yesterday big one weighed in at 7.7lbs, today big fish was 6.10lbs. Chatterbaits and cranks were the baits of choice.
  4. Thanks guys
  5. I am thinking of deep cranking with some 30lb braid. But I have some questions, will 30lb braid dig itself with mono backing? I recently fished a crankbait with braid for the first time and had great results. The most noticeable thing was how deep those hooks got in the bass's mouth. I mean they were stuck! Besides changing out hooks for more stouter ones, what other issues I might have by fishing straight braid? I am a braid fisherman already, I've never fished with anything under 50lb braid on a baitcaster.
  6. BBZ-1 fan here. One of my most productive lures of all times.
  7. They are top notch for sure. Love their products.
  8. Froggin is awesome!!
  9. You epoxy the shrink wrap on your favorite flipping hooks!!! I love these hooks, and its a shame Gamakatsu refuses to fix the issue of the shrink wrap that keeps the bait secure from dancing all over the place after a few fish. I know, I know buy something else, but these hooks have been bullet proof for me. Especially when Academy Sports sells them for .98 cents. Just though I would share my craziness.
  10. I wonder if they have a heavy wire hook?
  11. I have my share of bull shads, and they catch fish no doubt, but if your the type of fisherman that likes custom colors and nice details, this bait is not for you. It's rough looking, but as far as action goes, they are a winner.
  12. I've used Shimano's, Abu's, Falcon's, and a few St Criox's, none of these rods have been "budget rods", I would suggest you look IRod Genesis gen II. They are very sensitive, and action is true. Did I mention how light they are, you get a lot of rod for your money.
  13. I have an IROD swimbait .Jr rod and used it today to see how it would work. Long story short I loved it. Now I understand why people love those long rods.
  14. I got my eye on a 7' 2'' H Daiwa tatula rod. This rod will only be used for this technique. I've been using a 7'6'' abu veritas MH but It feels under powered when I throw lures over 3/8oz lures. I cannot stand a rod to be tip heavy, Ive tried to find a tatula locally but to no avail, bps, academy, none have them. What do you guys look for in a c-rig rod? What power and tip action? how long? I mainly throw 1/2, 3/4 tungsten weights with 8" lizards, Rage eliminators, or lake for tackle fork tackle ring worms . Thanks
  15. Mexican lakes and private ponds don't count. There is always a party pooper!
  16. This is one of my go to baits. I love flipping these, or just Texas rig. They are fish cathing machines.
  17. Or just carry a lighter and warm up the spring.
  18. The only lure I troll are swim baits. I've been very successful doing this in late summer. Bill Siemantel has a good write up on how to apply this technique.
  19. I need to fish mud holes more often.
  20. Northstar and Siebert jigs. I learned how to fish a senko, but above all, I can put more fish in my boat due to the knowledge I've obtained here. Thanks BR!!
  21. I just got your jigs in the mail yesterday, hopefully I can post some pictures tomorrow when I get back from my trip. This was my first order with you and I am very impressed with your product. As a hardcore jig fisherman, I really appreciate the attention to details you implement on your jigs!
  22. I wouldn't get caught dead fishing with those cheap reels!
