  1. We're looking at 9"-12" tomorrow with 12" plus where I'm scheduled to go. Should be a fun commute. Ice fishing for you Raider? HeHe
  2. I'm not sure Power Team Lures have any bad products and the Craw D'oevure is one of my favorites. I'd pick up a bag or 20 if I were you!
  3. Uh oh, RNF is on the jazz again! Don't you have a truck to sit in for about 10 hours! LOL
  4. Right after ice out.
  5. Construction Superintendent I'm not sure I could handle slonezp and Raider on the same project I'm managing!
  6. Just after ice out last year: Fishing with grampa (BR member) last spring (that's him): I thought I had photos of fishing with BR member Tate? I have to post on here when I get back from work, they're on another computer.
  7. Fishing for me started with fly fishing. I was vacationing in the Colorado Rockies and hired a guide for the day and fished a couple of gold medal rivers for trout. I got home and used that experience to catch bluegill on fly. Next came bass fishing using topwaters and cranks. A friend belonged to a club in NH and he convinced me to join as a non boater. He showed me how to fish slow with soft plastics and jigs.
  8. Had turtle in Grand Cayman, but never had carp before. At least I don't think I have...LOL
  9. Good question, my whole profile needs a fixing. Give me a minute Should be all set
  10. Gotchya, the Bay State isn't very user friendly to folks on a fixed income...and not for folks who are on a moderate income for that matter. F'n sad how they are driving folks and corporations out of the state.
  11. Yep, the real reason why Raider was chased out of an restaurant by an Asian man with a ladle was because he was fishing for the koi in the aquarium...
  12. You know, that's just not right...you left the Bay State for that?
  13. Sure do, I use the 3/4 oz size when I want to fish deeper, to me it's a 10' plus bait. Don't worry about the size of a 3/4 oz RES, think of all those jerkbaits that are 5" plus that a bass will hit with all the subtlety of a run away train. Down your way the bass tend to be a little bigger than here in the Bay State, so cast away my friend and have full confidence in what your doing!
  14. Amazing how one changes his tune real quick after spending 10 hours in a truck because of the white stuff...LOL As far as fishing this weekend in 60* temps, I wish you nothing but the best of luck I hope you catch a cold!...J/K LOL...good luck bud! I will have to say, I am not looking forward to the 12" plus we're suppose to get this Thursday.
  15. Hopefully you'll get a tax return soon...LOL
  16. Cool, I'll go thru my daughter's account to check out your pics!
  17. You are way ahead of me, I still have to clean and lube/oil my reels from last season! I have a feeling that we won't be iced out for another month. Usually I have jigs and spinnerbaits built by now, tackle all organized. Haven't done a blessed thing yet...LOL
  18. you betchya, this has been a really long winter here in the baystate. let me know when you finally get out and get some!

Right now it's about you viewing the vid posted by the OP...LOL...C'mon now, follow the bouncing ball...LMAO
  20. Part of the lure fishing experience for me is the modification part of it. I do appreciate the majority of lure designs out on the market and do fish them right out of the box, but there are some that you see that make you shake your head and think: "boy, if you do this, this and this, I can have more confidence with this lure." And you must agree, that having conviction to the lure you're fishing is a big nut to crack, otherwise you're wasting time out on the water. Below is one of those types of lures where I had the whole: "boy, if..." I got these at DSG for like $2/ea. The top one has been modified and the bottom is the original. For me, I would fish the top one hands down. I couldn't fish the bottom with any conviction. Thanks for posting Sam, I really enjoy reading your posts when it come to lure mods. EDIT: BTW, In keeping with the OP's original topic, that Zoom Mini Tube on the rear treble works great as a teaser tail as well as the feathers...believe it or not!

I've never heard of that, but it's worth a try? If you're in need of batteries, I heard that Sally sells C Cells down at the seashore.
  23. Not sure I'm ready to go to the dark side of the Raider...LOL No dice Glenn, still have issues
  24. Spinnerbait is a close second...I think it has something to do with the fact I caught my PB on a spinnerbait...It doesn't suck, that's for sure
