  1. Basically, Its a Zillion but a different material, A very very good reel for the money! I've heard it shines with baits 1/4 oz and above
  2. Possibly, i'll have to take some practice casts tommorow in the yard.
  3. Good theory, but I dont thing that is the problem because I get that perfect arch in the line when casting. My mind is pickeled by my predicament.
  4. Then my vote is for getting a new stick, Powell makes some sick nasty rods for a great price, check em out! --> http://www.***.com/Powell_Casting_Rods/catpage-RDCPOWELL.html
  5. Note: I really only seem to be having this problem with 3/16 ounce lures and above.
  6. Its all personal preference. The reason some like a 6.X:1 in fall cranking is because your not cranking very deep, so there is not a lot or strain on the wrist etc etc. Also you can make that shallow crank fly 8-) I say, stick with the 6.4 if you want and get a good cranking stick, But then again when the bass get deep next year, your gonna want that 5:X:1 reel. It all depends on what your bait monkey whispers in your ear
  7. So, one of the reasons I dont like spinning gear is because I always get line cuts in my index finger from casting. Is there a good way to prevent this? Over the summer I bought a finger gaurd, which is doing wonders, but when holding my rod I feel im losing sensitivity because im not directly putting my finger on the blank/rod. I know its not the type of line im using, because it happens with mono, fluoro, and braid. Does anybody else have this problem? How do you guys deal with it? I'm most certain its not my skin because I have really thick, tough skin. thanks, Collin
  8. I like a MH-H/F rod for my jig fishing. Get a MH for good amount of cover, and/or lighter jigs within the rating, A H for the thick stuff and heavier lures. I also prefer a 7'-7'6". I'll recommend a Dobyns Saavy 8-)
  9. *** might still have lefty Revo-STX's left for about 120 if you check.
  10. I think its because the Cowboys are by far a very popular team, and the NFL wants to keep majorities happy. Only kids like you like them , they haven't been "America's Team" in 30 years. Quit your front running. Plenty of people who aren't kids like Dallas, go annoy me in a different thread. ;D
  11. IF they lose their next game, i'll partially agree with you.
  12. I've been know'n to do this at Aquia beach because of the horrible weeds, but I was just really bored. Never ever caught anything doing it but now i'll try it for real this time 8-)
  13. Your farthest casting distance x 2 = How much PowerPro you need. Also make sure to get enough backing on to make sure your reel is properly spooled.
  14. I hear fantastic things about the Dobyns Saavy series as well.

  16. I'm about to make one in Culinary Arts! ;D Chef would be so proud!! 8-) But I may actually make one for a football game during the cold times. But my lord it has to take atleast 2 men to eat that. If 2 guys could eat this entire pie, I'd be REALLY impressed. I'll see if my neighbor wants to eat it with me, if so i'll film it. "Men vs Food" 8-)

  18. There's a huge difference between the 2010 team and the 1993 team. The 93 team had multiple superstars and Hall of Famers. The 2010 team only has a couple superstars and they play on defense. The 93 team wins in the coach category as well. Oh, so Miles Austin isn't a star? So Romo isn't a good QB? So felix jones is a terrible running back? Okay.
  19. All that grease is the gravy.
  20. You owe me a new shirt, I just drooled all over mine.
  21. you could use #2 or #3 for spinners, but I'd recommend a 7' MH/MF for my spinnerbaiting. Also I like as high speed a reel as I can get.
  22. When he's winning and placing, I guarantee you he's not using a Tessera.
  23. Carbonlite is well worth it, not so sure about the JM's ive never used one.
  24. Sick pictures dude
