  1. Must be a fish native to West Virginia !! ;D
  2. I just googled it and man do they get huge!!! ;D What do they eat if you know? Grass or fish?
  3. Today while fishing my home waters (Curtis Lake, Stafford VA) A family was just blue-gill fishing on the pier right next to ours, and then the dad caught a big, we-dont-know-what-the-h*ll it is fish. Do any of you know what kind of fish this is? Whatever it is, its eating pretty darn well. It sort of had bone teeth. Also it has nostrils??! Sorry for bad quality pics, I only had my cell phone. Please help. If I had to guess this fish looks South American in my eyes. :-?
  4. Speaking of relaxing music, when I drive I like to have my iPod play thunderstorms. Talk about relaxing driving and thunder ! 8-) your profile says you're 15 I have a Learner's Permit. I can drive, but only with a parent or someone over 18 in the car.
  5. OH!!! Whoops I thought 100 was for the whole combo, not just a reel. In that case pick up a BPS Pro Qualifier or Carbonlite. 8-)
  6. Is that the most you can spend? If you only have 100 then go to DICK's and pick up a Abu Garcia Silver Max/ Lightning rod custom combo. They run for about $70
  7. If money is not a problem, get the Curado. And the Crucial is a good stick if your going to mostly use texas rigs I say get a M/F or M/XF. Rod length is your choice 8-)
  8. Just pop the side cover off, remove the spool and put a drop or two of reel oil in the bearings. Does wonders IMO. I wouldn't take the gear part apart until atleast a year IMO.
  9. Dodge = Drips Oil & Drops Grease Everywhere hehe ;D ;D
  10. You had me at Hello - A Day to Remember why? because I like it (:
  11. Coming from a man who drives a Dodge instead of a Ford F-150 ;D To each his own!
  12. #1 is happening because your thumb is not quite educated enough. You need to thumb the spool more in the middle if of the cast. And some people take to using BC gear more than others, and a lot of people who try and use BC gear don't really know anything about it, and don't get advice from a helpful forum like this 8-). These people learn the hard way or they give up on it. I was one of the people who learnt the hard way. BC was a pain in the A**. As you get better at thumbing, you can put the brakes to 2 on, 4 off, and back off the spool tension so bet maximum distance, while accuracy only gets better with practice because it involves your release on the spool. Also Sufix Seige is probably the best mono in my eyes but the smoothness on retrieve is just the reel. Try cleaning and lubing and it should go away a little. But its mostly just the reel itself.
  13. You may not NEED all of the 7.1 but you can always slow down with a 7.1, you cant speed up with a 5. If you really want a 6.X:1 gear just buy the Citica gearing and replace. With the 200 you will be able to almost everything, including small swimbaits and weightless worms, but it wont excel in weightless like its little brother the 50E. But definately go with the E7 unless your going to use it for cranking solely 8-)
  14. 300 For large swimbaits and big cranks. 50E for light weight and weightless. 200E for everything inbetween. 8-)
  15. Why not reruns of Beat Charlie Moore? 24hrs of big time rush, Icarly and miley cyrus I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies
  16. Hehehe do it! ;D I highly doubt they'll respond though.
  17. Wakebait or ripping a rattletrap fro the grass
  18. I'll take a Dobyns Champion Extreme 703c with a TD-Z Type R. Thanks !
  19. Also I like to use straight braid for jigs, and braid with a Fluoro leader for t-rigs
  20. I say keep the Carbonlite reel, but drop the Veritas for a better rod IMO.
  21. I know what it is, but know nothing about it if that makes sense. I know I can google it but i'd rather hear from you guys how it is and what its good for just give me all your knowledge on it (: Thanks Also one particular question is does copoly float or sink? Thanks, Collin
  22. I think REC recoil claims braided line actually polishes the guides over time. And braid isn't really about brute strength, its about being super sensitive with a super small diameter for its strength. But don't get me wrong, it always puts a smile on my face when if i snag I pull up a whole log ;D 8-)
  23. BPS Carbonlite. SO nice to fish with for 120
