Flip/Pitch - None. Everything else Two on four off- No mag. Spool tension none. Although I will admit I was being cocky about my casting skills one day fishing with my dad and bet him $1 I could cast with no brakes-spool tension. Needless to say he won a dollar, but only by a small "Professional Overrun" 8-)

It's that the reel doesn't have a very powerful drag system, maybe 8 lbs at max. While say a Revo has 22lbs of drag barely turning it would give you 2.5-3 lbs drag. I don't own a Pres., so I don't know. But above ^^ is my best guess So your not doing anything wrong. But always make sure to turn your drag all the way off before not using it for extended periods , because if you leave it hammered down it will ruin your drag washers.

Exactly it just looks like a Woman's Powell max. Similar to what St.Croix did with their Avid series by making the Avid Pearl. Maybe it's just to get sales from style mindeed woman anglers. Thats my theory but I agree TT didn't give hardly any details except for how the rod looks.

I saw a Bass Pro Shop rod with a 60 Million Mod. Blank. That's the same rating as the top St. Croix and it only $100. My question is would it have the same senitivity? No. Modulus refers to the strain the blank can take before breaking. But the question comes to the blank graphite material. While BPS has a 60 million mod rod, it probably is just a 60 mod feeling blank(Kinda sensitive and can take very higher strains). While St.Croix has most likely developed a Super-sensitive(Say of a regular 90-100 million mod) graphite, that still has the strain of 60 million mod. If you fish the two side by side, they're will be a huge difference. Please, anybody correct me if i'm wrong.

Does anybody here use Okuma baitcasters? I kinda like their citrix and was wondering your opinions on them as I have never used an Okuma except when saltwater fishing at the OBX this year and it was just a cheap spinning reel. Also does anybody else think that the Okuma's look similar to Daiwa's? Maybe same OEM?

Has anybody heard about them? I was on Powell's site ( powellco.com ) and saw these rods in the slide window at the top of the page. It says the come out Nov. 1st and dont really say anything other than that. Were they at Icast? Have any of you heard about them?

I bought a NIB Kodak Zi8 from ebay $57 ;D Its a great little camera and is a little beast with HD video. Good photo's and will suit your needs!

Curado 50E. But your rod is more important when casting light baits than your reel IMO.

Having the spool half full will make it cast worse than a full spool though
