I view it like this. I use spinning gear for finesse fishing. Therefore, the rod goes in my right hand because the action is most important, not reeling. However, I use bait casting gear for moving lures. Therefore the rod goes in the left, and I can reel fast with my right hand. Finesse bait-casters are left handed as well, because I use my right hand for the rod in finesse tactics.

Your not alone. I held all the Rage rods with reels on them and they are not very comfortable to me, and look butt ugly. The Neoprene grip just feels way to small, more suited to smaller hands IMO, and I HATE all the Pac Bay on this rod. Its bad enough they went with the Pac Bay Minima reel seat, but then they went with minima guides? However, I think they made a step in the right way going with Micros on on the Rage.

Legend Tournament. Pros: More sensitive and better balance, guides, etc than the Avid. Cons: Cost more. I'll take a boat full of legend tournaments.

Only done shopping for the Old Man so far, but got him P-Line Adaro Pliers (Blue anodized), Seagaur InvizX 10# (First fluoro other than vanish), Some KVD L&L (To be honest, I want to try it just as much), and to top it all off I got him 12 new Strike King Red Eye Shads (His favorite lure), and to top it off I got him a Custom Dallas Cowboys jersey. What I bought for myself? A *** hoodie, The Fall BAM, and a big gulp. I now await my next check in a week and a few days. Bi-weekly checks suck!

So work has basically been screwing me lately. I got to work, and my assistant manager asks me why i'm late. I said I wasn't late, I work 5-8 today, I looked yesterday and took a picture. I looked at the schedule and they changed me from 4-8 overnight. They're gonna ask me why i'm late when you changed me schedule and didn't even bother to call me? What's wrong with you? This has happened at least 3 times since I started work in early October. And they should of atleast bought me dinner today, before they (insert expletive here) me. I was on ovens, so I take them out, cut them, and put them in the corresponding box on the shelf. They're supposed to be in order so I can pizza, box, pizza, box, pizza, box etc fast so the oven doesn't get backed up and pizzas dont fall of the conveyor onto the floor. But no, they had them all out of order, and then didn't even have whole orders up there. So needless to say, I had five different orders, all with just the first item, on the station where drivers grab the boxes to deliver. So the drivers couldn't deliver anything untill after 20 minutes of me telling people what to do. And of course, half the time the people responsible for making the pizzas forgot to even make the right pizzas, none-the-less even make them! And yet they had the nerve to blame this all on me. How about every one else gets there head out of there butts, gets off facebook, and does their job. I literally did enough work for 3 people, and now I have chest pain from stressing so much. [/rant]

The more I hear him talk to the media, and see how he goes about practices, etc, the more I like him as our head coach. My early prediction? Cowboys win the division from the Giants going 1-1 with them, win the wildcard playoff game, and then lose the divisional round.

I will agree Romo is a second tier QB, but none the less they have a pretty good offense around him (When everyone is healthy mind you.) The O-line is pretty new, and inconsistent. Sure, thats a problem. Our Running game has been MUCH better with Murray in, and after 5 games I believe he's for real. We'll find out though. But we have a nice Tight end group led by Witten, some very nice recievers in Austin, Bryant, and an emerging Larrany Robinson. However, I'm not a big fan of our defense right now. We get ran all over and picked apart to death in the middle. Our corners are doing okay at best.

One of the best mono's out there in my opinion. The Sunline mono is also nice too as mentioned a few posts up. But Seige is available everywhere practically. Sunline, not so much.

I use the BPS XPS Stalker Tackle Back Pack and can't say enough good things about it. Except the new color scheme. Blue and orange just looks bad.

Definately go with the Costa Del Mar 580 Glass lenses. I have a pair of the Permits with the Green Mirror 580 G lenses and looking in the water is superb! Unrivaled in terms of clarity also, and pretty light for being glass lenses. Make sure you try the frames on at BPS, Cabelas, etc. Each frame fits different, for different size heads, etc.

Some rod builders agree that the benefits of building on the spine are negligible.
