Agree, latest technology allows you to get 60 frames per second on the Flip camcorder for the HatCam. But I bet the i-KAM . will never be wobbly like the HatCam. If the company can just upgrade the camera in the i-KAM ., I think it may succeed. Chances are though, they will never keep up with the latest camcorders for the HatCam. My still vote is the HatCam, has anything found anything else that challenges the HatCam? Duct tape, the side of my head and a camcorder Lol on a serious note, the GoPro is pretty cool, but dont know how I would use it in fishing.

I don't use backing. I just put down a strip of Arbor tape that comes with Power Pro and I'm fine. All braid for me.

My annual trip is a week at the Outer Banks, NC. Me, my dad, mom, sister, Papa Joe and Nana Linda, and their big fat dogs Nothing to me is more peaceful then sitting on the peir with a pole in one hand, and a drink in the other, bare feet kicked up on the gaurd-rail watching the sun-rise, watching the day pass, and seeing the sun-set before the day is done. Catching is just gravy.

Looks good on paper, but for the small resolution and average FPS, I wouldn't pay $170 for it. Great design, but I would probably only pay 100 for it.

You can probably order the Carbonlite handle set from BPS. The reels have a same general design, but Im not positive it'll work, so check with someone with more experience first.

Not a rage tail, but I have been known to use Horny Toad C-rigged and as swim jig trailers. Not much success though.

Do you mean the reel only has 60-70 yds on it? In my experience under-filled and over-filled reels dont cast very well and get more backlash.

I have to agree about the Crucial. I have the M/XF because I primarily use very light t-rigs and Im in love with it. For rage-craws, I think the MH/XF will be a good choice.

I have a quick question, I think Nate you could answer it well, I know you know phones. Say, mid-way through my phone contract, I just really dont like my phone, do I have to wait until my 2-year contract expires to get a new phone? Or is there an upgrade program of some sort? I think a green Daiwa Zillion would look cool. Just sayin' the green ain't so bad...it's the logo on the side that looks cheesy. and to me, gold accents is SO 1980's The body copy says 6+1 bearings but the specs chart right after say 10+1 I think this reel might actually create some sales if it does have 11 bearings. For people who are willing to pay retail for a regular zillion, I suppose an 11 bearing one for $10 more might actually be a decent deal. Not sure if it will appeal to enthusiasts though. I noticed that as well. I think it looks cool, and even if you don't like the cabelas logo on the side, it'll wear off eventually
