  1. But to them, that color is red, it has been there whole lives. Its just blue to you.
  2. But everyone has different genes
  3. Yeah, but instead of folding like a taco, I roll em up 8-)
  4. Why cant the human body interpret the wavelength into a different color.
  5. I basically took the original guides off, and put them back on the spine(inside curve for spinning rod). I only use it for one week a year, so I didn't want to blow alot of money, just get basic cork and a new reel seat and remount the guides. All I have to do now, functionallity wise, is put the grip and reel seat on the rod, and add the first guide (Its a two piece rod, so the big guide has to wait until I get the cork, reel seat, etc on.). After I do all that it'll be time to pretty it up with some creative wraps, colored epoxy, and everything nice. Although funds are holding me back from getting cork and a reel seat :-/
  6. How much is shipping and insurance of say, a 7' rod? I've never shipped a rod, so Im just curious on the price.
  7. If you want I can do them for you for cost of shipping. I can put them on the spine and everything. Hell, I can re-do the whole rod for cost if you want. Thats what I plan on doing with mine. My thread is in the Tackle Making section. If you want it professionally done thats cool too, just throwing my name out there 8-)
  8. I have 5 freshwater combos and I've been fishing for over 30 years. My wife thinks I have a lot yeah, ok whatever you say dear. That's 5 that I rotate through, not counting what gets retired. My boss swears by Ugly Stiks. He uses them for saltwater where sensitivity really doesn't matter. They gotta be doing something right as long as they've been around. Don't let him fool you, BC has a TON of fishing stuff. He's just worried his father might log on and find out Lure wise, more than my fare share. But then again, my dad has right around 3/4 of the same stuff I do. Actually alot of my stuff is from Bassn Blvd and Road Warrior. Thanks again for donating!

My boss swears by Ugly Stiks. He uses them for saltwater where sensitivity really doesn't matter. They gotta be doing something right as long as they've been around. 5 would be a good number for me, considering I use a plethora of techniques. And I love Ugly sticks for saltwater. I have a freshwater 6' Med ugly stick paired with some shakespear reel, (a decent one for like, 60ish dollars) and 65 lb braid. Its a whole lot of fun to fight a 6 ft shark on that! Its true, the rods really never break unless you take a saw too 'em. And even if they do, your only out 30 bucks. Im actually re-doing a 7' MH saltwater model right now for rod making practice (see Project Pretty Stick).
  10. I like the looks of them, they have some nice components. Time will tell though.
  11. Man, trust me. If I had the income, or just an income, I'd be all over the Flea Market. No Cash-esch for me.
  12. Hahahahaha. I've got a nice assortment of tackle, and probably more than a lot of members (Newbies mainly, not the hardcore guys.) but where i'm lacking is my rod arsenal. I only have 2 combos as of now; A Crucial/Carbonlite and a Lightning Rod/Abu Cardinal.
  13. For worming fluoro I like and recommend Seaguar AbrazX 12# and for braid I like Sufix Performance braid, but I really want to try that 832
  14. 45 min on a good day, but usually dad says I cant go :-/
  15. My wal-mart is junk for fishing stuff. I wish I had one of those wal-marts where they have better reels like the Revo S. The best reel in my wally world is a Shakespear Axiom (Or however you spell it)
  16. I don't care what's discussed in schools on snow days ;D
  17. Yes. Obviously my thoughts wouldn't pertain to them.
  18. ... that I came up with in school. (No I was not high. lol) What if everyone saw colors different? Like male's saw the opposite color spectrum then women,or for everyone it was random. Like when I see blue, others see the opposite on the color spectrum (I don't know the opposite). It could explain why everyone likes and has different favorite colors. Maybe everyone likes a standard color, but we all see it different. So like if everything saw the, we'll call it Mystery-color, and one person saw it to be red, and the other saw it to be purple, and those were there favorite colors, it would be the same mystery-color, but they see it as a different color than its true Mystery-color. This makes no-sense, but then again, I cant think of anyway to disprove the theory. Because everyone see's the color different if the theory is correct. Suppose you place a blue-piece of paper on a table and ask everyone to tell you what color it is. They will all answer blue, because ever since they were born they've learned it as blue, even though they may see it as red. So red may be blue to them. But I dont think this can proven/disproven... I guess we'll never know man...
  19. Wait.... I thought TD-Z was just short for Team Daiwa Zillion.
  20. Lemmiwinks!!!!! Haha thats the first thing I thought of, and I knew you had posted it
  21. Wow, that's a nice chunky football! Show us some pictures of the smallies! I have my biggest swimbait smallie is already posted up on the first page of this post but heres another pic of him and another sebile eater that came on board with him. 3 of my biggest ones came on the same day, lake, and spot. The pic with me and my little bro holding 3 bass is part of a 5 fish tournament bag on a hot swimbait bite, I believe that both the smallie I'm holding and the largie that my little brother is holding came on sebile 125's The last fish is a long but very skinny smallie that ate a zoom swimming fluke in the first 5 minutes that I ever threw the bait. Caught on the same I day I caught the fat Largemouth in my above post. After I ran out of Keitechs of course. 8-) Random question: What type of sunglasses are those?
  22. Maybe he just kept his sponsors from when he was an up-n-comer. He probably has a very good relationship with the companies and thats important to him, but I dont know if he was ever sponsored by someone else besides Quantum for reels, Nitro for boats, etc. Im sure he can have any sponsorship he wants though.
  23. What are moaner hooks? I've never heard of those.
  24. You may have just opened Pandora's box of tackle. So many pictures, in one thread.
