  1. Went out twice this past weekend, once on Saturday to the Susky (had one nice smallie get of the crankbait at the kayak), and on Sunday I went to Lake Williams. Was able to get 3 in the kayak, all on a 4 inch brown senko. They were the first bass in my kayak and the first senko fish I've ever had. One was 8" the other two were 13" and 16". I bought a cheap digital camera that really sucks, well for 10 bucks no wonder:)
  2. I haven't made my way to Marburg but its on the list. Not too far away and always looks nice when I cross over it going into Hanover.
  3. Prettyboy is very nice. I thought there was a rule that you could only take the boat on Prettyboy, Liberty or Loch Raven, and no other bodies of water. This was to help ward against zebra muscles. I could be totally wrong though. Speed your not that far away from Deep Creek. I usually head out there once a year. Good fishing overall but tends to get really heavily used during the day hours by speedboats and jetskis. I love the Potomac, used to spend weeks at a time fishing in between Brunswick/Sandy Hook.

    Nice fish. I love froggin!
  5. I enjoy Shaw's show. Good guy. Love the laugh as well!
  6. Yeah got my first senko fish yesterday as well. Man those fish tear through a wacky hooked worm though!
  7. I like City Limits, Bass Pros, and One More Cast. I really like the clips I've seen of Joe Thomas' show but I don't have that channel to watch it.
  8. Awesome fish, and nice lure!
  9. Great fish! The eelimantor does look awesome. They are on my list to get, and will probably be my first Rage baits!
  10. Anyone use these? They are just outstanding looking and I'm thinking of picking up a couple (Pumkinseed, Crawfish, Shad) at some point.
  11. I tend to fish it slowly, almost like a popper.
  12. Love the spro one. I'd like to get a King Daddy as well, and I'm anciously awaiting the Captain Ken custom frogs as well.
  13. Thats the 6, the 5 is an oz or so.
  14. Very nice paint job on that Punker. Went back for an hour or so last night shore casting. Mainly used the G2. Had a nice hit on a bass that I missed, and a few others that popped it. Good stuff, really like the movement on it.
  15. Awesome fish!
  16. I've heard of this before but haven't used it yet. Next time out on the kayak I think I will.
  17. The Punker even at 5" is a much bigger bait over all than most I use. Heck each one of the three are "big" baits. The Buzzjet at 4" is 1 oz and looks like a muscular bee in the water. I'm hoping the Punker nets me my first Striper this season. Love the action, I just need to keep working on my walk the dog technique.
  18. I kept reading this as Meadow Lands.
  19. I got 3 baits today from UPS (Bass Tackle Depot) and went out on the lake for a quick spin with each (just from the shore). The Deps Buzzjet is pretty awesome and very unique. You can fish it three ways. First like a Torpedo bait, reel slow with just pop, wait, pop, wait, etc. Second like a buzzbait or jitterbug, reel it reel slow and just let the prop bait make all the noise in the world. And finally a fast reel in will make it dive like a shallow running crankbait. It has a great wobble to it whenever you crank it or pop it, and it makes an ton of noise. I didn't get any off it but I can see it working really well. I picked up two Black Dog Baits. I finally have a Lunker Punker to call my own. I've wanted this bait for a bit and now that they have 5" versions that are under or at 1 oz I had to buy one. Love it so far, got my only bass with it tonight. Make a lot of noise and creates a big wake when walking the dog. Good stuff. If you have never heard of a Lunker Punker, watch this video and you will know the name http://blackdogbaits.com/bobby-barrack-lands-giant-striper-on-lunker-punker/ The last bait I got was a Mini Shell Cracker G2 version. Looks great, ran neat. I didn't really have more than a few casts with it, but I can see it catching a bunch of fish as well. Sorry for the long post but I'm pretty happy with all three lures and can see good things from all.
  20. I tend to break out the flies and fly rod if I'm really having a bad streak. They always seem to work.
  21. I will be heading up to RI for a week or so to visit the in-laws. Are their any nice places around Cranston to fish? I might be bringing the kayak as well. Thanks!
  22. Downtown fishing just seems pretty awesome. Seattle really works for that, lovely city.
  23. oh no, not sink, sit. I let it sit for a few seconds before starting to reel it in. my mistake:)
