i would say crankbaits , cant catch a fish on them spinnerbaits on the other hand , are my goto lures .

It depends on the water clarity and sky conditions but my all time favourite spinnerbait is a home made with .032" piano wire 3/4oz weight with the profile of 1/4oz tandem copper blades and chart/white 60 strands skirt
