Hey Chop! I was given a bag of the Incredicraw's but haven't used any yet. Do you use them any other way? Mike

Rage Tail Craw vs Rage Bug
Good enough for me! There are no docks on Okeechobee but somethings newly made boat trails through the grass are very productive with the right presentation. Gonna give it shot Mike

Ribbon tail worms
Funny you should ask! Just Last week I caught my new PB on a 7" Culprit Fat Max. Needless to say I Love those things. I most always use a 3/16 tungsten weight and a 4/0 EWG offset hook. Let it sink and just vary the retrieve back for the first 10yrds or so and then just a slow steady retrieve back. Did I say I Love those things!! Mike

I noticed this and wondered
Interesting... Good Info about the why and how, never thought about it. I say "Stay On, Stay On" on every fish I hook regardless of what I throw. Mike

3/0 Skip Gap
I use the 4/0 almost exclusively for flukes and especially for all types of stick baits. Mike

What are your thoughts on $100+ swimbaits?
Last week I caught my new PB on a 7" ribbon tail worm. Would she have hit it if a 200.00 swim bait came by? We'll never know. One thing I do know is no matter what you throw it better be in waters where they live. Do you need one? Me and thousands of other anglers are proof you don't. But @Bluebasser86 and @WRB make excellent points that need to be considered if you specifically go big girl hunting and what to lower your odds. Was my PB just pure dumb luck then that she hit a cheap ribbon tail? Probably Would an ever bigger one have hit a 200.00 swim bait if it came by? Maybe, maybe not. Just use what you have confidence in and fish where they live and the world will turn. Mike

Line Spooling
What isn't certain?? I use a box when I can and have been known to put the pencil between my feet. What I do more often than not tho is just lay the spool on the ground or a table. They all work. Mike

Line Spooling
For quality line if you lay the spool with the brand sticker up the line will come off the top. (BC) Turn it over with the blank side up, it will come off the bottom (spinning) There are many different ways to spool.. What I just explained... In a box... Between your toe's... Or Tim Horton's way from his boat... Drop the spool in the water and spool--Just make sure you reel fast enough to keep it within reach, and pull it out quick when you're done before it sinks. Mike

One piece of advice for a newbie
There's more than one..? When you need to slow down and you think you did...You didn't. Let the fish tell you what they want... When it gets tough, fish your strengths. Color and/or scent doesn't always matter. You dont need 500.00 rods and 300.00 reels to be successful. Read and listen to everything and everyone you can, But always remember... Nothing replaces time on the water. Mike

Jigs Braid or Flourocarbon
Agree Check your set. I use either 20# Shooter or 30# braid depending on where I'm thowing. Its not the line. Mike
