The allure is that the weight hits the bottom then the plastics kinda flutters down after it. If the initial drop doesn't entice a strike the flutter will. Also, you can consider it a poor mans C Rig. It's a good presentation for small ponds and canals down here. Mike

Ditto I use 14# or 16# Sniper and 20# Shooter for all bottom contact, weightless and most moving presentation's depending on what and where I'm throwing. Mike

It's not the fanciest or most advanced, but to me the Curado 200E7 is best all around reel they ever made. Mike

I heard the same thing as you. If I'm not mistaken I believe Seaguar makes the XPS for them now which is much improved than what it was. Its just a different formula than thier named brands. Anyway, Before I made the switch I really didn't have a problem with it. Then again maybe I just got lucky. Mike

Thier XPS Flouro is quality line. Its not Sunline Sniper, but in a pinch it will suffice. Much better in my opinion than Seaguar's Invisx Mike
