  1. Love those things! Can't remember the last time I didn't throw one in a tournament. I mostly use the magnum tho and rarely use the standard size. They are killers down here on top, on a Carolina rig, or just skimming above submerged grass and especially hydrilla with a 3/16 pegged bullet weight. The uv speed craw is also a good little top water plastic in smaller backwaters and creeks. Effective little t rig or punch bait too. Mike
  2. Don't really have many. As a co angler I have to go where they want to go but I'll chose what to throw based on where we're at on the lake, depth, weather, experience and confidence in what I tie on. Mike

  21. I don't touch the brakes because I may want to cast out farther than a normal pitch. I'll just lossen the spool tension. Mike

  23. To me color is the absolute last consideration I make when deciding on which plastic to throw. That said I use Junebug more than any other because in my waters it's proven itself and I have confidence in it. There are waters that a translucent color will be predominant, or one with sparkles, or a solid lighter color like pumpkin or even black. The point is you don't need a rainbow in your bag, but sometimes contrast or a complete change up will be needed. Same thinking as useing a white skirted spinnerbait over a chartreuse one. The fish will tell you what they want and sometimes they'll want something you don't have. Mike
  24. I hope so. I'm fishing the BFL on Kissimmee Saturday. Warmed up just in time! Mike
