Barbless hooks
It is an old practice but not necessarily ill-advised. I know a few folks who fish in golf courses and private ponds who always use them. Personally I use them occasionally when pre fishing for a tournament but that's the only time.. IMHO, If you handle and release them the correct way, a barbed is perfectly fine.. Mike

Ask A Pro A Question
I realize some of these are suggestive and open ended and could rely on a "feeling" or "hunch" but someone may give good insight.... When useing soft plastics, what are the deciding factor's you consider that would convince you to change the color of the bait you're useing first, before changing to another plastic bait style? What factors do you consider to help you decide what bait or presentation to change too, when what you're useing doesn't work? How long do you stay with a certain bait before you decide to make a change? How long do you stay in an area without getting bit, before moving to another spot? When moving to another spot do you look for an area similar to the one you left, or something completely different? How do you decide when to up or down size the hook's on hard baits? Mike

Punching what do I need to know
I use a skirt almost always when I want a bulkier presentation and always when I know they're feeding on bluegills, and also in stained water. Don't get hung up in thinking a punch skirt should only be used for punching either. It gives a different look entirely to your t rig that they may not have seen in areas where most won't think of useing one. Mike

Curado I vs Chronarch E which is the better reel?
Imho the E is better for more up close heavy duty work whereas the I is more comfortable to use for casting. If I had to choose between the 2 I'd take the E, no question. Mike

Can you flip/pitch with spinning tackle?
As everyone else said you certainly can. Use the tips they gave you. Now...Flipping with a baitcaster doesn't require a disengaged reel..It's all line. The reel stays locked. Pitching with a baitcaster is all thumb. It'll take a while, just keep practicing you'll get it. If you have a specific question just ask Mike

Storing Soft Plastics
As a co-angler I have to bring and carry what I have in my bag. I use vertically divided 3600 plano boxes. One each for stick, creature and swim baits. Mike
