  1. For the guys who don't own a boat the Carolina Keeper is really your only option unless you just roll it up on any piece of round material and stuff it in your bag someplace assuming you have room. Mike

  7. Absolutely, and breaks/break lines within a spesific break or break line. Which can hold the mother load if you find the right one at the right time. Those are the areas best explained like finding a pattern within a pattern.. Try explaining this to a high school fishing club class, they will look at you like you had 3 heads. Then the light comes on. Excellent thread!! Mike
  8. I know this wasn't asked directly of me but imho the Scum is the softest, and one of the best made frogs you can buy and worth more than advertised. It doesn't matter to ME how it looks. It's like saying I won't buy the best performing reel because I didn't like the color scheme. It catches fish, That's all Mike

  20. Fellas, I really hesitated even asking this question because I know the vast majority of posters here love tieing leaders, I don't..for anything. So I have to ask...Why? What advantage is there useing a leader of any kind for any moving bait let alone a jerk bait. I just don't get it. Thanks Mike
  21. Honey Candy Cut R is my #1 plastic by any manufacturer and my go to for numbers. The majority of the time I rig it tail down with a pegged 3/16 weight. Mike
