  1. My previous boat, center console, I had a bow mount trolling motor. I used it a lot. The boat I have now cannot have a bow mount trolling motor so I anchor. Works for me.
  2. I live between Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie. Roughly a 30 minute drive to either. Charleston Lake is a 7 hour drive where I vacation.
  3. Condolences to you and your family.
  4. The Thames river in my area does the same thing every summer.
  5. I like to be on the water by at least 6 in the morning. By 10 the bite seems to end for me.
  6. Wish I had that tackle box. It would add to the look of my 1962 Acecraft runabout.
  7. Nice looking boat Rahlow
  8. I bought a Raymarine Dragonfly 7. It came with Navionics, sonar, downview, temperature. It works very well for me. I fish Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie, St. Clair River and Charleston Lake and the downview is always clear.
  9. I got some warm harnesses, Strike King spoons and a landing net
  10. I have to learn to use the tackle I have instead of buying more. I have to learn to use my baitcaster better so I get less backlashes. And lastly... I have to learn to accept that there are some poor lost souls that do not like fishing.
  11. All I want is a selection of worm harnesses
  12. I'm thinking about purchasing a Raymarine Dragonfly 7. Anyone using one? Would like opinions before purchasing the unit.
  13. Charleston Lake, Ontario It's 20 minute drive to Brockville, Ontario for shopping and touristy stuff Clear water, lots of smallies, great beach, lake frontage cottage rentals
  14. Happy belated Birthday!!
  15. For me fishing has changed a lot since the mid-sixties. Better reels, rods, tackle choices. TV shows and internet sites provide more educated guesses. Catching, unfortunately, has remained exactly the same. I keep telling myself that someday I will catch a 3 pound Smallmouth or 4 pound Walleye ?
