Sunline FC Sniper
I use 16# Sniper on my bottom contact setup for medium to light cover and wouldn't change. However, personally I wouldn't use such a quality line on a moving bait presentation. But that's just me. Mike

What Does Rain Do To Bass
I love fishing in the rain...Air is fresher, air temperature drops, water temperature drops, frog bite is better, spinnerbait bite is better, paddle tail swim bait bite is better, previously unaccessible areas are not for a while. I hate fishing in the rain...Muddies up the water, pollutants get washed in, can't see as well, the wind pushes surface vegetation around too much, fish have more areas to roam, lightening. Mike

One spinnerbait for shallow weedy lake
Since I switched to War Eagle spinnerbaits for all conditions, my hook up ratio has gone up significantly, especially in the weed filled lakes down here. Mike

If you could go back..
I'm told that if we were honest with ourselves and really thought about it, we'd all come up with a few things we'd do different. But regrets? Maybe, maybe not. I'd put more thought into teaching my kids and grandkids how to be a better son, daughter, husband, wife, friend and all around better person. Being a professional tournament angler isn't one of them. Mike

How to find/catch big bass
They're obviously still there just not in the mood when your friend gets there. There could be many reasons, you can read about them in many areas and I'm sure someone will be along shortly to give you a link or 2. But one that you may not hear a lot about is that those fish may be on an internal time clock (just a theory that I believe in) I believe it happens a lot on a small lake/pond given it's confining area, size and limited food source. A Senko stick bait type bait could mimic it's predominant food. The small ones may not be as discriminate as the larger fish are (that's why they're bigger) Try useing a bait that you think nobody throws, or at least what is not predominant in your pond, and go at different times if you can. You may surprise yourself... Good Luck Mike

Keitech FAT Swing Impact - Your Set Up ?
For all paddle tail swim baits I use a H/F Falcon "Carolina Lizard Dragger " rod with a PQ reel spooled with 50# Power Pro. This setup triples as my frog, C Rig and swim bait setup. Mike
