  1. Like others have said I only use a swivel to prevent line twist when useing a spinning setup to throw very light unweighted plastics. Which very rare. As far as snaps go, I used too not any more. (Norman) It's just as fast for me to tie on another with a SDJ knot direct, than to open, take it off, put a new one on and close. Especially when it's cold and have fat fingers. Mike
  2. Tom I know we live 3,000 miles apart but do you buy this stuff at a national chain, local tackle shop or on line? You peaked my interest. Mike
  3. I use 16# Sniper and have used L&L on it since I put it on.. I also use it on ALL lines, including braid, and have never had a problem of any kind useing it. Maybe you got a very old bottle and didn't shake it enough...I don't know, just a thought. Mike

  7. Years ago I had 2 Gators [i live in Fla] named Big Al and Cosmo. We kept them in a 55 gallon fish tank that I set up to look like the everglades. One time I got cute and tried to feed Big Al, who was the bigger of the 2, a piece of hot dog from my hand. He lunged and caught my index finger, as I pulled back his teeth scraped the top from my nuckle to the fingernail. You should have seen the look on the nurses face when I told her how it happened, she giggled as she started to prepare a tetnous shot. After they got a little bigger, I gave both to the biology dept of a local college who were glad to have them I miss those guys. Mike
  8. They wear thier sponsored logo's on thier shirts, hats and pants, they put em on thier boat, stick em on the truck, give seminars about what they use etc.. But none of that has ever put a fish in the boat. They will use what they need to use win, which keeps that stuff coming. Mike

What I have done in the past, was to call the tournament director and ask him if he knows of anyone looking for a link up. Sometimes they do.. Mike

I believe the forum on the main site has been eliminated since the site was redesigned, which I hate also. Mike
  19. Besides a heavier weight (Id start at 1oz and go from there) use a more compact plastic such as a craw type bait of your choice. Mike
  20. A Light bottom colored Frog in the morning, plum colored 10" worm and soft paddle tail swim baits (49er Big EZ or a houdini Skinny Dipper) the rest of the day. Mike
  21. It's just not where I'm at I guess... Mike
  22. Petey Rig... More of a finese C Rig presentation tho You can use a stop with a sliding weight above or a bobber stop above and below. That way you can adjust the weight anywhere you like. (Think split shot rig that can be adjusted much quicker) Mike
  23. Rage Shad and Shellcracker. No matter how or where, I just can't get bit on those things. Mike
