  1. Pretty much the same for me... In my teen years it was all Motown especially Smokey, Temps and 4 Tops.. Which is what I still listen to most. Mike
  2. Good, Was getting kinda nervous. Mike
  3. More fish have been caught on plastic worms than any other type of artificial bait combined. And yet we always grab something else when looking for a change. Don't know why, maybe its because they're relatively cheap and we all think the newest, prettiest, most expensive thing in the box will catch the next fish that swims by. Good lesson here. Mike
  4. If useing a baitcaster I tie all baits and hooks direct, regardless of the line I use. The only time I use a leader is on a spinning rig and that is only for the lighest of presentations. Mike
  5. If it's there I also tie to it. Mike
  6. ( so taking his spot is going to be a good friend of mine. Huge Bears fan. Please ridicule him mercilessly on the league site. Ridicule him!! Seriously?? The man is obviously extremely intelligent and has impeccable taste! I haven't met him and already I like him! Mike
  7. Grey's Anatomy, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire. (But I'm prejudiced) Mike
  8. Very true... Where and how, as it is with all artificial baits, is key. I have the most confidence in a plain white Pop R Mike
  9. Ahhh, that's Great!! Congratulations Daddy, I hope Mama is feeling better too. Mike

Prayers sent for a complete and total recovery! Mike
  11. To help from getting real bad ones in the future, make as long a cast as you can, then pull out another 20 yds....Put a piece of electrical tape on the spool. The next time you over run, it won't be as bad as the spool will stop once it reaches the tape. Mike
  12. JT Sorry to here this, we can all learn from your experience. Living in Fla for the past 37 yrs I've learned a few things about protection and healing. I don't know what you're useing to ease the pain and itch, but the best thing I've ever tried and that includes what a doctor prescribes is straight natural aloe. Not the extract you buy at the drug store, but the stuff right out of the plant. This is one wives tale that is true. Hope you feel better soon. Mike
  13. Ok Ordered one... Other than a straight retrieve, how else do you guys fish it? Mike
  14. Use a nail weight or a ribbed finishing nail. Experiment by putting it in the nose, body or the end. Mike
  15. Absolutely! Skinny Dipper or Big EZ are killers down here. Mike
  16. For me it's a honey candy Rage Cut R first... Mike
  17. Yes, that's the Scum Frog, it is a separate company, and yes the package is yellow. Mike
  18. I use 12# Yo Zuri for cranks, spinnerbaits etc. and for carolina rig leaders, nothing heavier. For anything heavier it would be for bottom contact presentation's and for that it's either braid or 14# Sniper. Mike
  19. As I've said before, for "working and walking" to me the Scum Frog can't be beat by any of the mainstream brands. For a steady or stop and go retrieve, I like the Capt Ken #1 Clone. Mike
  20. Ditto OP, read this again. The man knows of which he speaks! Mike
  21. I use 30# Power Pro for Big Ez and Skinny Dippers. Which are the only ones I throw Mike
  22. 7' 2" Phenix M1 mh/f casting rod, JM Sig reel, 12# You Zuri Head less RI Skinny Dipper No trailer hook Steady retrieve with an intermittent fall, lift, stop and go Mike
  23. 7' 2" Phenix M1 mh/f casting rod, JM Sig reel, 12# You Zuri Head less RI Skinny Dipper No trailer hook Steady retrieve with an intermittent fall, lift, stop and go Mike
  24. Ditto Can't answer about useing it for mono, as I don't use mono at all. Mike
