Are There Any Good Affordable Polarized Glasses Out There?
Wal Mart sells a Berkley for 20.00. I wear a pair all day, very comfortable. Not as good as my Costa's obviously, but for 20.00 not bad. Mike

Punching With Copoly
I punch matt's whenever I find them..Matter of fact I look for them more than any other type of cover. Be it pad's, hydrilla, milfoil, lay down reeds..whatever. My combo is a 7' 2" H/XF Quantum Smoke rod, Curado G with 65# braid and won't change a thing. Do I lose fish sometimes? Sure. But I'm convinced any change in what I use, the more I'll lose. Sometimes you have to give yourself the right tools for the job you're doing. Your equipment looks fine to me. Even if that means not useing braid. It works for me but obviously doesn't for everyone. If I was a pro and fished for a living and as good as those guys are I may feel different. But I'm not. I'm not that good. So I use what I have confidence and experience in. The biggest and most important tip I can give you is no matter what you use, Once you set the hook get thier head up!! Quick!! Drag em across the top right to the boat if you have to. Also, sometimes you just have to purposely pin them in and go get em. I've said it before many times, to me flipping or pitching into solid or weak matted cover is akin to hand to hand combat. Nothing is left to chance. Good Luck and keep at it. Punching for big ladies is an art that you have to learn given where you're at, and how you do what you do. Mike

Favorite Vibration Bait Around Cover?
If it's non emerging grass I like to throw a trap 1st, then a chatterbait. If not, I like to throw what A Jay does also.. Also, I rig the scrounger with a Sluggo trailer and the chatterbait with a headless skinny dipper. But your milage may vary. Mike

High Pain Threshhold
Sorry to hear that.. Take it from someone who has had back problems such as yours for years..... STRETCH...STRETCH...and STRETCH again. Sure you can take pain pills, muscle relaxers, massage's etc. All that my help short term, but long term you have to STRETCH that puppy out. 2 years ago I had 2 vertibre fused and I'm convinced the only thing that saved me from having to have another is Stretching. I hope you feel better soon Mike

Grass Roots Movement
Rain!!?? Try living in So Fla! With the best Bass fishing on the planet you have to plan your trip around storm clouds every day in June, July, Aug and Sept. Add to that a min of 92deg and humidity so high you're sweating buckets before you even get to the water. Being originally from the So Side of Chicago, I watch the weather up there every day, I know what you are saying. But what you guys have up there even tho it makes it tough, it's not every day for month after month. I'm on my way up there now for the opening of Bears camp and was hoping to get a few days of fishing in before we head home...I sure hope it gets better in the next 2 weeks...Maybe I should hit my knees a little earlier Mike

So How's Your Team Looking(Nfl 2015)
Yep, all of those are on my list of things to see how it shakes out. Also, I want to see for myself what's so special about Fangio's defense, how often Long moves to right tackle, who gets the most rep's at inside LB, and at the nose, especially the rookie. Also I'm gonna keep an eye on Allen and Houston at end. Mike

Flipping Baits
I use both. The standard ones for scattered vegetation, and the HD ones for punching. Mike

Braid To Fc Knot : Alberto Or Double Uni ?
I use the uni to uni...Tried the Albright and the Alberto, good knots. Since I only use a leader on my spinning setup and rarely use that, I stay with what brung me! Mike

Looking forward to this!! I like the defense scoring system you have worked out. This is totally different than any other league I've been in. Mike

Flipping Baits
Get the Owners with the centering pin on the twist lock, makes it much easier to rig straight. I don't think they sell any without it, but I thought I would mention it. Mike

Looking For New Tackle Bag
Check out the "AZ" line of bags from Flambeau. I use the AZ 8 which is the largest, but I like to take more than what I need. They're not to wide or long but more rectangular I guess which is perfect if fishing from someone else's boat and space is a premium. They have all the right pockets, in all the right places in all the right sizes. Mike

Flipping Baits
I use Sweet Beavers almost exclusively with an Owner Twist Lock hook. I really don't have an inordinate amount of piercing through at all. No more or less than a D Bomb that I use only as a change up. And I do a LOT of flipping, pitching and punching. Mike
