Lightest Power Rod You Use In Tournaments...
If my tournament is on Okeechobee, Toho, Istokpoga, St Johns River, Harris, Kissimmee chain or the Everglades it's a moderate action composite crank rod. All others are MH/F. Any other lake or canal system its a M/F spinning rod. Mike

Well we just had "One Lure" thread a little farther down and my answer was plastic... 2 ? OK, a Skinny Dipper and soft plastic. Mike

Snell Or Polamer Knot For Flipping
I dont use a standard straight shank hook anymore for flipping. When I did it was a Palomar for braided line and a SDJ for floro. All I use now are the Owner twist lock hooks regardless of the size. Same knots for the same lines. Mike

One Lure
I know what you're trying to learn, so to answer your question.. Plastic worm You're not gonna get an absolute consenus to help you make a decision on what to use the most often. Every one has thier favorite for the waters they fish, what they've had the most success with and where thier strengths lie. So, if I may....If you ask what presentation we would chose if it only had to be one, I think you'd get more out of it. There are many threads on here already asking the same thing but to answer a question you didn't ask...Pitching plastics into heavy vegetation Just trying to help Mike

Jerkbait/topwater Baitcast Rod?
Good choice. I use the X11 as my all treble hook rod except for anything on top because of my line choice. Mike

Rod Gloves
I do the same if there's time. I use a 5ft cloth strap that has a plastic lock that I wrap around the rod handles and lock them together. Then tie the end with an over hand knot to the rods, being sure that the knot is between all the guides. Makes them much much easier to carry. Just sling them on my shoulder while walking around. Then on the boat I just use the boats built in rod strap next to the seat until we get to where we're going and take them off as I choose a rod. If there isn't a rod strap I just hold on to them at take off. Never had a problem Mike

Spinning Reel On Casting Rod
Ahhh, heck man dont worry about that kind of stuff!! So what if somebody thinks you dont know what you're doing, you do and you know why!! I don't have patience for stuff like that. Who are they to judge you? I'll bet at some point in thier life they had to Improvise, Overcome and Adapt more than once to accomplish something they wanted to do but didn't have the means to do it just then. You know it not ideal, but as long as you got a line in the water and have a hook tied on, just go catch a fish!! Mike

Ok, I Know I Can Catch Bass On Panfish Jigs, What Would Be A Good Next Step?
Wacky, Shaky head rigs and a Fluke would be excellent choices also. You really dont need to get crazy with all the choices available to you now a days. Keep it simple and have fun. I hope you're feeling better soon. Mike
